Last night's episode of Click, Bang! is up. The rules for the Lexi contest are at the 33 minute mark:

The (absence of) Rules for The Lexi Contest by VP Live on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free

iTunes - Podcasts - VP Live by VP Live

The rules are:

Submit your entry in whatever format you want, except no animated .gifs, to clickbangradio@gmail.com

Your entry must refer to Lexi in some way.

Maximum of three entries per person.

The contest is open to everyone, but if you live outside of the continental US and you win, you will have to pay for FedEx shipping, which will probably be expensive. If the winner is in the continental US, there will be no shipping cost incurred by the winner.

Your entry cannot contain any reference to you - by name, by picture, by likeness, etc.

Deadline for submitting your entries is Monday, August 6th.

First place is Lexi
Second place is a stainless steel Lava Tank
Third place prize TBA

If you are unclear as to the rules or format of the contest, please listen to the podcast, as I go over some examples in detail. If you are still unclear after listening, feel free to email me at clickbangradio@gmail.com with any questions.

Good Luck!

I have to say this thing is awesome. I was actually fortunate enough to see Russ' personal Lexi in person, when he showed up at a vape meet I attended this weekend. The pics and videos don't do it justice. It really feels incredible in your hand. The weight is just right, and it feels like you could drive over it with a truck and it would be fine (don't worry Mamu,we didn't try).

All I can say is we are super lucky to have someone with the talent to make something this slick at home, hanging out with us.

Great job Mamu!

hey mamu,

wondering if you used the onboard charger inside the recharger enclosure you used? if so, does it charge the dual 18350's to a max of 4.2v's and stop charging? looks like the output on that unit is 5v, so it must have a regulator of some sort. we're the original 18650's in that box run in parallel?

thanks!

<wondering if you used the onboard charger inside the recharger enclosure you used?> Yes

< if so, does it charge the dual 18350's to a max of 4.2v's and stop charging?> Yes

<looks like the output on that unit is 5v, so it must have a regulator of some sort> Yes, these chargers have some type of regulator. I wasn't sure if output charging would affect the Nivel and really didn't want it to be used, so I epoxied over the output hole.

<we're the original 18650's in that box run in parallel?> Yes
