I tried the njoy when I firts started and hated it.
First of all very expensive, secondly the switch that activates it goes off at the slightest sound. The menthol flavor is about the only thing that was semi decent.
I suggest a Smokeless Image Volt or Elite Vaporworks 808 or anything but njoy.
I blame njoy for the bad rap E-cigs still get ..

Just my :2c:

but what ever you use to get of the nasties is the greatest one for you ..

I personally wouldn't buy an e-cig from a shop that also sold bongs and .........-related material when there is entire online stores related to vaping...But that's just me lol.

(Nothing against weed. I just don't trust potheads with my personal information =\ )

As others have said a KR808 type e-cig is pretty standard for starting out. Even a joye 510 is the same pen style as these njoys if that's what your friend is looking for.

Though I would recommend pointing your friend to a more specific vaping website because I'm sure once they try vaping they'll be hooked and ready to stop wasting money on those death sticks and start spending all that saved money on vaping like most of us did ^.^

Yes! N-Joy was what I started with, and it is still my primary. I got addicted to the flavor (1.8mg nicotine, traditional) LOL!

It has worked 100% for me - I'm five months with no analogues and very happy. I smoked for 25 years, btw.

I'm using the *mini*- you get one battery and PCC (USB) and one cartomizer - then you have to purchase refill cartomizers that run around $20 for 5.

There are cheaper deals I'm sure, but really busy haven't had too much time to shop around yet.

I recommend N-Joy.

Good Luck!

These types of ecigs are bottom of the barrel for me. Only thing worse would be a disposable.

And in case it hasn't sunk in yet, get the Bloog, Volt, Halo, or the other ones Mindfield said. They are the best for cigarette styled pvs.

Seems to me the most heavily marketed ecigs are all crappy Gen 1 808s (v2cigs, BluCig, Greensmoke).

Nit-picky technical point: Greensmoke is a KR808D-2, and I think Blu was originally an RN4071 or some piece of crap like that before they went with their current (808? 510? Can't remember, never cared to find out) model. v2 were always 808 I think though.

In any event they were all pretty crap.

Halo, Bloog MaxxFusion, Smoov, Volt, Vapor4Life, all of 'em are better than the Njoy and in most cases cheaper for the same type of kit or better, and since they're all KR808D-1s they're easier to find (cheaper) replacement cartos for.

I completely agree .... Some old ECF member made a couple of review vids about this ecig, if you search it you may be able to find the review, although I think it is a year old, or older .... the reviewer did not do a good job with his vid, but he seemed to be over the moon about this particular e-cig.

But again, I second what mindfield said, better to go with a KR8 model ... go to www.CANVAPE.com, they have the best/lowest prices on KR8 starter kits, and really great service too.
