Gosh iSTRONG, that is a lot of e-smoking you are doing. You must be sucking on the thing pretty much all day long?

I can make a cartridge last a couple of days, but I tend to top mine up with a couple of drops of e-liquid. You considered getting some?

Welcome to the world of e-smoking. Glad to hear that you are enjoying your njoy. Have you cut down on your regular cigarettes yet?

Sorry it took me so long to respond. It been two weeks now since I started using NJOY, I have totaly quit smoking, and am just using this e-cigarette now. I love the fact that I can use it at work any time I want. I did have a battery die on me, but I contacted Mark at NJOY, and he is going to send a new one.

I just received my njoy ecig in the mail, and am thoroughly impressed.

Previous to the njoy, I purchased an ecig from e-cig.com, and also I got a mini cigarette from ebay. The ecig was pretty good right out, and I was able to smoke it instead of cigarettes right away. (I'm about a half pack a day smoke) The vapor was allright as long as the batteries were fresh and there was lots of liquid. The mini cigarette was no good. I took a few puffs, and there wasn't much vapor and the liquid kept coming back into my mouth. So that was nixed right away. SO I was doing allright with my e-cig, getting the hang of it, enjoying it, when along comes my njoy.

It's more nicely put together, with more care taken on the parts. The battery has cigarette-like banding around it, and the tip is a nicer, more ash-like mold than the e-cig. Also, the light is more orange rather than red. Little details, but important.

Then, a big one, the njoy unit is much more light-weight than the e-cig! This is huge! Easier to hold in my mouth by far. Although, I have to say, I prefer the e-cig mouth pieces to the njoy.

Now, the smoke! It's much much more vapor than the e-cig gives out, and the vapor is better tasting and less harsh in the throat. It's great, really the best one I've tried. It's a few dollars more than the e-cig, but worth it, very worth it.

We'll see how it lasts, but so far, I am amazed at the difference between the two.

This is a great forum, I'm happy to finally post after lurking for a week or so.

Kind Regards,
Jordan

Hello all, first time poster! I've been lurking around here for the last 2 weeks trying to see what Electronic Smoking had to offer me. I've been smoking 13 years and while I do love smoking I don't enjoy the associated health risks. I'd like to severely cut down (from a pack a day) or possibly move to e-smoking all together.

Like many here, after reading so many shining reviews about the NJOY, decided to give them a shot. I ordered the white starter kit and a 5 pack of the "High" Strawberry carts. My unit arrived in 5 days ( I'm in Florida) and just showed up at my door a half hour ago. From what I've tried so far I'm surprised by the good amount of vapor, even with the batteries right out of the box. I've got one of them charging and awaiting my 30 minute drive to work (I can't wait :) ). I'm more than impressed by how NJOY's technology has the ability to impact my life for the better. A worthwhile investment.

Aside from the Strawberry carts I ordered a few flavors from a guy on ebay (electronic cigarette) and the carts seem to fit reasonably well with the NJOY - not snug like officials but no difference in performance. At 11.95 a 5 pack with a good selection of flavors and free shipping - this guy has some good deals. Looks like direct resell of E-cig.com products, but without the customs crap. In a worst case scenario I suppose I could gut old NJOY carts and transfer the ebay membranes over for a better fit.

I can't wait for work tonight, I'm sure there'll be plenty of questions - the people I've mentioned NJOY to so far seem very interested.

P.S. I used this forum's coupon code for a 20% discount --- Thanks SmokeyJoe!

Welcome mindtrick,

You seem completely set and ready to begin e-smoking. :)

Just remember, it is not like smoking cigarettes. You do not get the "hit" that you normally would from a cig but you wil get the nicotine. The hardest thing about these e-cigs is putting them down. It seems I am always puffing away at mine. The only time my e-cig rests is when I am asleep.

I have several different e-cigs; however, my 2 NJOYs so far are my favorite.

What? You don't e-smoke while you sleep?

I know Dr. Jim has tried this, 'cause I asked him when I tried it. I dripped e-liquid onto a Band-Aid pad and taped the sucker onto my abdomen one night. Kinda made an instant nicotine patch. Didn't work well at all. The liquid is oily and the Band-Aid didn't like it. Then the nicotine was absorbed all at once, instead of over 8 hours. I stared at the ceiling for a few hours. Scratch that idea.

At least with e-smoking while we sleep, we won't set the bed on fire. The last thing my wife sees of me at night is the red glow from the tip of my e-cigar.

hi All,

I have just received my Njoy cigratte..the white one..
its very quality..
the service is very good.
before this i was tried mini cigratte and health and e-cig sigerallo.
this one is best of them.
the health was poor quality. but it taste was strong very near to real cigratte. but at the same day it had damaged :(
the sigerallo from e-cig was poor quality also. and the vapor was poor. and it damaged after two week. and the taste was light not strong.
the first one was mini cigratte. i am stil using it. its quality not bed. but its liquid comes to my mouth. and i hate this .. so i use it very carefully.
This one.. i mean the new one.. namly Njoy.. the best quality of all them.. best vapor.. but.. the taste is not strong..it is like a light cigratte.. although i used high cartrdgs with all my cigrattes.. but i am still looking for a cigratte that has strong taste..
If someone tested a brand that has strong taste.. i want to hear ..

Best wishes..

Hi Guys,
Just got my 1st e-cig from NJoy 2.5 hrs ago. And 5 min ago I went out a bought myself 2 packs of regular cigs due to a feeling of complete frustration and disappointment – my 1st cig in 5-6 days!

I watched Dusty’s video and was impressed - http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseacti ... d=33921088

However, I didn’t receive ¼ of the vapor smoke that Dusty did from his NJoy.
I read most of the posts by all of you. I tried to remember all your hints, i.e., take 2 small puffs then 1 big one – no difference.

I ordered mostly medium and low strength cartridges because I felt I had detoxed myself from the nicotine – that will prove to be a waste. The unit came with one high strength cartridge and that’s the one I’m reporting on.

Many of you suggested using the e-liquid. If this makes the major difference in obtaining the most satisfaction/vapor then I think the companies should say so and not push the cartridges but suggest the e-liquid as the best solution! I didn’t order any e-liquid so I can’t test that until I order it and wait for delivery.

One member said it takes time to get use to vaporing but it doesn’t look good to me at this point.

I’m kinda feeling this is all a hoax/scam and waste of anyone’s money.
BTW, I can’t say much about the taste – can’t describe it anyhow. However, to me that’s a minor issue at this point.

I welcome anyone’s comments and experiences that might alleviate my disappointment or improve on my experience.

I posted for the first time 2 days ago. Here’s my post: myecig-com-penstyle-and-supermini-t312.html

I will try ordering some e-liquid before I give up completely and play with this thing and report back if any improvements

But don’t interpret my post as a lack of appreciation for this forum and all your reviews and suggestions.

Hi NerdyCindy, and welcome to our world! I think everyone here can empathize with your frustrations, but I know we would all encourage you to hang in there and don't give up yet. I've owned two Njoys and one of them worked from day one, but the other took about a week of coaxing before it started smoking. Fortunately, you made the wise decision to purchase from one of the companies with the best reputations for customer service, so if your device really is defective they will take care of it right away. It will probably kick in and start working before long, so don't get discouraged yet. The switch from real cigarettes is certainly not easy, but I think we would all agree that we never want to go back.

And RatInDaHat is right......sometimes it takes a long time to charge the batteries for the first time. Even if the light on the charger is green, the battery may still not be fully charged. I usually leave a new battery in for about 8 hours for the first charge.
Good Luck!!! :p

Ha.. ha. That’s ok. We all make silly mistakes now and then.
Yes, I initially used the unconnected battery as was suggested by the posts I read.
I immediately charged the 2nd battery for 3 hrs per instructions.

I’m now using the battery I charged for 3 hrs and changed the cartridge to a med strength cartridge. I am getting some vapor that doesn’t seem too bad but again seems insufficient.

However, with my pack of regular cigarettes now sitting beside me, it is a little confusing. I have to wait until I finish the regular cigs (too expensive to throw away right now – rationalization, huh? - lol).

Thank you both for your interest.

A couple of questions if you don’t mind on issues that I read about but it will take so long to find them again:
1) Something about the cartridge section heating up – that’s bad right? I think one is suppose to put it down and wait a while, right?
2) When one is puffing is it bad or non consequential if the light on the end is blinking?

Sorry, Cinderella, but I can't give you a pass on this one! When my first e-cigarette arrived, I had just bought a whole CARTON of cigarettes. I left them sitting in the cabinet for a few weeks.....then gave them all away.

As for the blinking lights, if they blink continuously for about 30 seconds, it means your battery needs to be charged.

The overheating issue is a problem for the atomizer.....if it starts getting too warm, then let it rest a bit until it cools down. We are still waiting for the perfect device to be invented.

Thanks karenwest1961! I'm presently charging my 2nd battery and I will let it go for the 8 hrs.
You are all so great to help me with these little technical questions and problems.
Thanks again!

Hi Everyone,
I’m back! Being a newbie at this I’ve got a million questions. Hope I’m not making a pest of myself.

I bought 2 (5 cartridge) packs of cartridges with my new NJoy e-cigarette. I’m realizing my supply is not going to last very long. I was searching for a place in the US where I could purchase cartridges for less than 5 for $25. I was also looking for a place to buy the e-liquid. I have two questions:

1) Anyone know if Crown 7 cartridges will fit my NJoy – they’re $10 a pack!
http://www.crown7.com/cigarette.shtml

2) I found a 30 ml bottle of e-liquid on e-bay but one has to bid for it starting at $19.95. You can’t buy it. Don’t want to sound like a complete idiot but I never bought anything on ebay. Does anyone have any suggestions or hints on how I go about bidding for it? Should I just bid at $19.95 and wait and see (apx 23 hrs)
http://cgi.ebay.com/Electronic-e-Ci...75043QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262

Lastly, I read somewhere here on the forum someone was wondering if one can inhale a nicotine fluid/vapor without an e-cig. I’ve been using the nicotine gum and a nicotine inhaler that is just a thumb-sized white plastic with no mechanism but inserting a clear ampule into it. The ampule contains a soaked core. Here is a link in Canada only that sells it. I have some sitting right here if anyone has any questions.
