Great quality switches but I got an illuminated push button and I can figure out how to wire it. Any help is appreciated and if anyone can come with a diagram on what to solder where would be immensely helpful .. Thanks

NO? NC ? Just take out a DMM and set it to continutiy and test the pins .You should find you answer in a few seconds . The light will come on as soon as you touch the correct two pins and for the other two pins it will just be one wire to the battery and one to the atty . Nkks are usually marked at the bottom of the pins too .SOmetimes you need a magnifying glass though .

I use the bigger illuminated NKKs with 5 pins and found it in a few seconds without any diagrams

Are you sure you fried the LED ? 100K is so high that the LED may not light up . I havent looked at the specs but being in the business of LEDs a resistor in the 300ohm range should have been close . WHat wattage resistor are you using also ? If its a 1/8W or so you may have blown the resistor . A 100k with the proper wattage should not have blown the LED though .

Sorry I looked at the resistor again and it was actually 100 ohm. But yes I am sure the led fried Ahah. I wish I had video of it because it was a rather interesting sight to see... It glowed verrrry brightly for about 2 seconds then dimmed to almost as if it was off then got brighter then before and flashed to a brilliant shade of orange. A small amount of smoke and a rather unsettling smell accompanied the orange flash.

Yes thats what happens when they blow . They rapidly change wavelength and puff out .Also known as Thermal runaway. 100ohm will do it at 7.4v thats for sure . Green LEDs usually have a FV of around 3v and usually 20ma with your standard cheapie LEDs .

At 3v 20ma and 7.4v supply you would need at least a 220ohm 1/4w or higher . I do this for a living lol . I was thinking 100k wouldnt have a chance in hell of blowing . 100ohm makes much more sense and is sure to blow up .

WIth the 100ohm resistor the highest supply voltage you can put on it without blowing is 5v and thats right at the top end of the TYP spec .

ALso every color(wavelength) LED runs at a different FV(Foward Voltage)

Lowest to highest

Amber 2v
red 2-2.5v
blue 3v
green 3v
white 3-4v

Thats on average .Certain high quality LED can be higher than those standard ratings . I have some lumiled red LEDS that in high BIN numbers can go up to 3v 70ma typ .The standard LEDs you will see though is what the chart is refering to .
