NLV, There is something seriously wrong with this juice?

I know I toss out some negative threads about this and that, but this is a serious problem that I am having with Bounty Hunter from NLV. I purchased a 30ml bottle a few weeks back and the juice was great on all counts.

I then tried to purchase the juice again, but was informed on their website that I could only purchase a mini jug of 130ml. I thought this was fine. I started vaping this juice and noticed right from day 1 that this was not the same juice that I had purchased previously, It did not taste the same or vape the same.

I only have this one juice in my house so this is the only juice I have been vaping for a week. I started coughing all day long. I assumed I had a virus or something different. Today it got really bad. I stopped vaping the juice for 30 minutes and I did not cough once. I said let me give this the benefit of the doubt and vape it. As soon as I started vaping it, the cough started once again.

You might say that I am allergic, but then you need to explain why the previous purchase did not make me cough once. I find this to be a serious problem.

This has nothing to do with what I usually write about, this is my health here. Does anyone know where I can send this to be tested? I feel there is something very wrong with this juice. Do not know if anyone has had this problem becasue if you vape many juices during the day, you mostly likely will not catch this, but there is something wrong here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having it tested at a commercial lab is an expensive proposition, the cost can be pretty prohibitive, depending on what exactly you want it tested for. Have you considered contacting NLV and explaining your issue and concerns?

Hi there, Yes I contacted NLV by e-mail explaining to them exactly what has happened...I only contacted them about a half hour ago so I will have to wait on their reply.

you can do a titration test at home for nicotine content for a few dollars but a GCMS test will probably cost you a couple hundred bucks unless you have a contact at a lab or know of a place that takes one off tests at reasonable prices. I'm sure there are places that can do a GCMS for you for less than a couple hundred bucks, you'll just need to dig around and search a bit.

Best of luck in figuring out what is going on here and I hope that your contact with NLV can shed some light into the situation and/or resolve it to everyone's satisfaction.

I am not saying this is the problem, but sometimes problems can lie dormant. I have a thread started here in this forum about Cinnamon and have had to retract my stance because the same vendors cinnamon did not "taste" the same, and it didn't feel as good as it did before. I use quotations around taste, not just because taste is subjective, but the way our palates perceive taste can change as well...sometimes overnight. Now, as far as your allergic reaction, I haven't had that happen in such a noticeable and concerning way, but I do believe you have questions that need to be answered, though, it may not be the answers you are looking for! So, good luck and don't vape that stuff again, period!

I hope it was the juice!

I have noticed that I have gotten juice from the same vendor a few times and a lot of times on the second or third or so time around it tastes like crap, and sometimes doesn't even vape the same! It is annoying that some vendors cannot seem to mix things the same all the time. Unless, like someone here said earlier, that it is my taste buds changing or becoming so used to one flavor that it becomes tasteless or even tastes bad! But I never experienced a cough from it. That does sound messed up. Plus you are now sitting on 130ml's of it! Geez! Good luck.

Yikes! I totally forgot to factor that into the equation...man, I wish there was something I could do instead of just posting, because when something happens to one of us, we all feel the pain to a degree! I really hope they treat you kindly!

That is a good point Mr. Mann. We DO all feel it to a degree! Maybe we should, or I guess there kinda is, a thread on here for bad juice experiences. I know there is stuff on company feedback, but it would be cool to have something specifically on juices. I don't know, just a thunk. Or maybe I am way behind that train that has already left! Haha! If so, let me know where to catch the sucker!

As far as consistency goes NLV and Halo are the most consistent juice vendors I have used. If something is off with your juice it will show up with many complaints since NLV is mixed in big batches. They don't mix it bottle at a time. I just got a mini jug in this latest batch but I have not cracked it open. I will open it up and report back.

I bought a mini jug when they came available a couple weeks ago. I've gone through 8-10 mls and have not had any adverse reactions. Frankster have you tried any of your other juices? A shot in the dark on the matter of coughing. When I was using Vision eGo (stardust) I had a problem with them when they started to wear out or need cleaning. The vapor being produced was wispy (?) or something and it would make me cough badly. I gave up on them and have used cartos exclusively. I've not had the experience again.

Because NLV sells out of BH so quickly, and they struggle to keep up with demand...I suppose there's a chance they left something out of a batch...or measured their stuff wrong. Please let us know what happens...I was just about to step on the BH stalkers list....

Sad to report this is my first issue with NLV BH . Yes Frankster my new jug of BH is not BH. It tastes like tobacco only. It has a slight BH smell but it isn't the BH I have vaped 600mls of it is a full tobacco taste. I sent NLV an email and I am confident they will take care of this.

Not making fun here, but this has to be the funniest 2 posts I've seen yet! Lol. Unfortunately it has to come at the expense of you guy's juice. And that I am sorry for. But this did make me laugh! Lol.

Anyway, I may have to try them out, I like the idea it is mixed in a big batch for all the reasons you mentioned and are unfortunately experiencing.

One last thing. I like NLV but I went through 30ml of regular bh and the all vg way back when, then I had no desire for it anymore. They sent me a free 10m bottle in my last order.... maybe cuz I'm the only person who doesn't ask for it lol gave it away in a contest!

I think it is strange also since the first 30ml bottle I had was great on all levels. But this mini-jug juice just makes me cough like crazy...I would say that I was allergic to something in it and that would be understandable...but I had no problems with the 30 ml bottle which was just a few weeks ago. My biggest problem is that this is the only juice I have.

I actually ordered 50ml of twilight from nlv and it has not arrived so I am pretty much dead in the water.

The situation that angers me the most about this situation is that this is the only juice I have in my possession is this Bounty Hunter, therefore, I am forced to smoke until the twilight arrives. I have not smoked since September and now I have to smoke because I cannot go 2 days without the nic. Now, that is really upsetting.

If anyone knows Nlv, they have the worst inventory management in Vapeland. I ordered the juice last Wednesday and I will be lucky if I get it by this Wednesday.

have you tried the BH in another carto? remember to shake before using. nlv has always been spot on for me (ive ordered 6 times from them)
