for some reason my mod keeps reading "No atomizer" I made a new coil and wicked it today and I am not sure why it keeps reading that. it was vaping fine today until after class and now it is just constantly saying that.

I had this issue before thinking it was just juice splashing into the connecting pins so I would remove it wipe it down and it went away or the screws were not tight at all. screws are tight pins are cleaned still says that and my ohms are 0.01-3 higher then it should be. is one of my leads cut off from screwing too hard or any possible things to fix without making a new coil.

running a evic vt 60wat with the mutation xs.

does anyone also know how I can get juice from splashing/spilling out the sides. I have juice constantly dripping down my rda and into the connection pin on my mod. running a 0.40-0.50 ohm coils for the most part at around 22-30 volts. I am not sure what type of juice I am using it is a local juice but I believe it is mainly VG

Check your rda with an ohm meter or another mod. No Atomizer indicates that the rda is open.
Leaking, it is an rda so they don't play well at other than vertical. Other possibilities would wick material getting into the air holes or an bad o-ring or center pin insulator.

ETA: also check the 510 pin of your EVIC. I don't think that the EVIC has a floating pin.

not sure of your no atty message you are getting but as for the atty leaking if i am thinking of the right one your atty is just a mutation x v4 but mini and the bottom airflow will leak if dripping just slightly too much at one time you could either drip less or take the top cap off and paint your wicks as well as when wicking make sure the wicks dont res on the bottom air flow holes this will guarantee leaks if resting on the edge of the holes

sounds like you arent getting a good connection with the mod in your 510 connection for the no atty message but this is just a guess as i dont own that mod

I'm using the evic vt right now with a vertex rda. The eVic does have a spring loaded 510.

Try adjusting the 510 out a bit on ur rda if u can also for leaking you may be over dripping. And like stated above try checking the rda resistance on another device or an ohm reader. Is the coil touching one of the post or the top cap?

Leaking part is easy - Stop over filling

As for the evic, torture testing with liquids is not advised. any time I cause a leak, I immediately clean it up to avoid damage.

The unit may be liquid damaged

ohm reader reads 0.49, mod reads 0.48. I can't adjust pins I think I don't see any option but never really had this issue besides for the juice leaking which caused it. still happening. I think I snapped one of my coils I'm going to try to recoil it if that doesn't work I think it's the mod it's gone already. after recoiling it it is working fine I am not sure why it kept reading "no atty" the leads were still connected , screws were strong. I'm currently running a single coil atm though and I put them in different posts unlike the first set up but they were still positive/negative

Try Atty on different mod, try a different Atty on the mod say no atomizer. This will tell you where a problem might be.

As said above sounds like no connection, if you have a + touching a - then it would say shorted. How low of a build can the mod fire? Also if it is a temp mod and you're using kanthal, make sure you are not in temp mode.

So, you are saying - WITH NEW COIL - is is working again?

You do not have a full understanding of current flow.

Even id you have a Coil, unbroken, and attached to you Positive/negative Post, you can still have a NO Atomizer condition.
The coil legs and Post MUST come into CLEAN Contact for a complete circuit to register.

Yeah, this. If you're just dripping the liquid directly onto your wicks you might be spilling some into the air flow. Take the cover off and paint the wicks.

it was vaping just fine then all of a sudden it kept saying No atomizer but it would still vape it would just keep saying No atomizer once in a while like after 3 seconds. so I assumed their was a complete circuit just couldn't figure out wth was going on/ I've tried multiple coils same builds for the most part no issue unless juice leaked into the connection pins which i'd clean and then it would work again but this time that wasn't the issue so I assumed it was broken.

My Evic does have a spring loaded pin, but it doesn't have much of a spring. I had a similar problem with one of my Kayfuns. I ended up backing out the positive pin just a bit and it made connection again.

That is what I am seeing as the likely cause. New Vaper not understanding - No center pin contact = no atomizer reading.

You CANNOT SEE the center pin to swear it is making contact. You Must Feel for contact before reaching tight/flush.
