As edyle said this is good stuff because:
Saves batteries for use when on the move
Way more consistent vape
Easy to build (most of us have old ego/510 dead batteries laying around if you have been for vaping for anything longer than 3 months
Besides all that, some people just like to build things

What kind of power do you have running through it while plugged in? volts/amps etc. Seems to me the most difficult part to find in large/reasonable price supply would be the EGO tp/510 connector. Then again I'm sure there is some Chinese manufacturer that has a billion of them waiting to be ordered.
1: What kind of power running through while plugged in:
Well my local Radio Shack sell Universal ac/dc adapters which have a switch where you can adjust voltage to a choice of:
3, 4.5, 6, 7.5, 9 or 12 volts.
So I set them to 7.5 which will work on mods designed for 2x18350 batteries.
I have 3 of those ac/dc adapters; the biggest one is a 40 watt one.
My mods are 15 watt mods.
If I lose my electronics I could always plug in on my mech and set the ac/dc adapter to 3 or 4.5 volts.
2: eGo/510 connector:
That's the BEAUTY of this FINAL SOLUTION!!!! I'm NOT interfering with modding an eGo/510 connector!! I'm just using existing mod tubes!! All I am modding is really the 18650 (or 18350) battery itself, and shoving that thing up the mod tube!
So I am using existing mods, and just plugging metal up inside the mod instead of the battery; the mod doesn't know (or care) that it's not a battery inside; all the mod wants is a suitable voltage.
And if something is wrong with the mod I can just take it off, and use another mod!
