I find the 306 to be the easiest atty to clean. I dewick everyone before I use it, so it makes them that much easier to clean out. I run mine under extremely hot water for a minute or two, blow out, then do a few dry burns to get the water off the coil. If it glows quickly and uniformly, I call it good to go. If it takes a while to glow, or one side is dark while the other side is orange, I keep at it with the dry burns until all is good. If there is a lot of baked on stuff on the coil, after dry burning, I'll rinse it out again, then let it dry.
