I think Terrie just means that using certain terminolgy can be percieved as bad - same way everyone says vape so as not to confuse it with analog smoking?

I used to play a lot of paintball at a tournament level, and we had the same discussions there, calling the guns 'markers' and trying to move away from the wargames / militistic terminology and style to minimise the risks of having laws restricting use and ownership of paintball equipment.

Paul

EXACTLY!!!! Thanks for understanding what I was trying to say!

sorry to have caused such a hot discussion. Terrie, I'm not an addict, this is true, but like previous posters have said most people start smoking for the physical or mental effects. The buzz is a natural thing when inhaling cigarette smoke. I'm not a junkie. I've never even used an illegal drug in my life thus far.

I'm sure you can understand the sensation that I was describing though and I'm trying ecigs to see if it's possible to get that in a healthier way. I'm sorry if I had offended you in any way. Just trying to get some education here.

Sorry to you audi...i was just trying to give my opinion on a few things and It got way out of hand. U never did say the word high (sorry for putting that in my post) but that was how i interpreted it. If this crap about the feds trying to screw with us as hard as they are wasnt a factor I wouldnt care what words people use on forums. I really just wanted to talk to YOU. Thanks..no hard feelings?

I still smoke about a pack of analogs per week. I find that my body still craves the "other" crap in tobacco cigarettes. It's not just Nicotine that our bodies crave, although Nicotine is a primary dependency.

I can't seem to control the urge for the other chemicals.

It's like my mind/body, needs the "dirtiness" of burning tobacco!

I agree on one point brought to attention, buy a modded, manual switch ecig.

I think what Terrie was trying to get at is that she or he would want to nip this whole ideology of using these devices as a means to alter a user's state of mind. Which .... it does naturally by the use of nicotine. But I believe his or her notion was that these kind of requests or thoughts will lead to people trying to use it for other purposes--which will be inevitable. For example, the use of .... or pipes legally sold. They are meant for tobacco, but who the hell uses it for tobacco?

The fact someone has already made ...... juice to vape is a big blow to the world of ecigs (now you can vape to get an erection). What's next? See how this would lead to a world of hurt for us?

So when someone asks about getting a "buzz." The last thing anyone here needs is someone saying, "I just found out how to get the best buzz by doing this." Then we all seem to be using these devices for purposes not intended--or so it would seem. Plus, the term "buzz" has always been referenced to alcohol, tobacco, & prescription or illicit drugs. Why reference that to vaping?

Keep the forum clean please.

Wow Terri...you really are crazy....Let me start with your line...("After all it is (or was) a free country.") Then you go on to say..."I wish people would only say certain things. So much for freedom...You don't get that "marlboro high"....you get "unstressed"....same meaning, its called "repackaging" I find it hilarious one nicotine addict calling another nicotine addict a junky. I'm with h8isgr8 on this one..... just really tired of "YOUR KIND".....

Metalrain

I NEVER called him a junkie..can u even read??? "junkie mentality" is completely different...can u use a dictionary or do you want to debate that too?

metalrain.....

This is a quote from another thread that uses the word "buzz"...Totally different than your use of the word..can u see the difference now???

"I've given up analogs a few times (never sucessfully, but I am keeping my fingers crossed this time) but I have made it 4 mo's, 5 mo's and 3 mo's. Each time I went through a time period where I felt kind of dizzy kind of like a buzz but not exactly."

So I just started vaping today, Blu, and I've noticed that I'm not getting the chills like I do with analogs. I'm used to getting a strong buzz off 1 or 2 analogs, tingly skin, head buzz, ect.

I don't recall ever getting chills, tingly skin or head buzz from analogs unless you're talking about the dizzy feeling you get when not smoking for a while.

Vaping is not the same as smoking but I get the same satisfaction from it as I did with analogs so I'm not sure what it is that you're missing from the analogs.

I vape to fulfil the urge my body has for nicotine and to "mock" the habit of smoking. It's come down to that because I refuse to buy analogs and pad the government's pockets any further.

I don't consider myself a "poor addict" because I choose to continue getting my nicotine in the best way I can and I don't want to quit. I still drink coffee for the caffeine too. It's all about choices and nothing else.

This forum is open to everyone's opinion and I would say, if the post upsets you, just take it as someone else's opinion and let it go. We are all different with different outlooks and life experiences, so we should take that into consideration.

Try stronger smoke juice and a higher voltage device and I think you will be amazed at the difference.

Good luck with your vaping!

It's the combination of nicotine + MAOIs you're craving. Find a way to drip some MAOI into your e-cig and you will be fine. ;)
