No computer wiz needs help

Hi I'm from the older generation and have never uploaded picture's to the internet, I have kodak easy share on my computer and all my pictures are in there, how do I get one from there to here, I know it sounds stupid but I'm old remember haha, I need esy 123 baby steps.

download Picasa and import your pics and dump the terrible Kodak software! Picasa has a button just for e-mailing photo's and is pretty good for editing pics too

If all your photos are on your computer start an account at photobucket.com. It's free. You upload the pictures there from your computer and it gives you a code under each one. Copy and paste that code in the response area where you type here and that's how you put pictures in a forum.

i have kodak too. I copy and paste to my documents and rename the pic so it is easy to find. you dont have to download any other programs.

But you do have to upload it to an internet responsive server to post the pic here ... say for an avatar or for your sig.

I use photobucket.com. Although I understand that many love Picassa.

I would agree to post a pic in a message or for your Sig you need it hosted somewhere, but I uploaded my avatar image directly into the forum without needing to host it anywhere!

Thanks everyone, I did get it done, although I did set up an account with photo bucket, I used flingitnow's way, but did first put it in my sig file first ( did'nt know what I was doing) but now I got it in the right place. I'm learning new thing everyday, this forum is great.
