Won't doubling or twisting the wire increase the resistance?

It's on a Dingo.
Yes, also, increase the surface area...

I have an AGI, and it reeks flavor. I use ribbon kanthal and silica.

Try a new juice, as many as you have. Also, make sure your airhole is lined up with the coil.

Hmm, but if I increase the resistance, I'm not going to get the same hit as I do now. I don't like having to suck on it for 10-15 seconds at a time.

I am curious about the ribbon kanthal though.. wouldn't mind trying that some time.

I suppose I could try a new juice, but don't really have the cash for it ATM. This is/was my fav juice, and it used to taste great. It shouldn't be this flavorless, unless they've changed something since the last time I ordered it (which was a couple years ago actually).

When the res. goes up, you are going to have to draw way less. The power is thrown to the coil MUCH quicker. What ohm's are you at now?

Do you have the materials for a <1 ohm setup. I use my IGO L at 0.9 Ohms and crank it up to 3.7V at this thing hit so well! 30 Gauge or even 28g would be good. Ribbon kanthal even better. I have used my 0.5mm x 0.1mm ribbon on this also and the TH, V & F was great.
Maybe I have been getting better results because I am using xC 116 'kiln fired' ceramic wick.
Just some food for thought.

Ohms = resistance.
More coils = higher resistance = higher ohms = longer draw.

Not sure of the ohms, don't have any devices to measure with.

Unfortunately, I only have the silica wick and 32awg kanthall that was sent to me with the IGO. Not really enjoying the set up.. guess it'll have to wait til I have an extra bit of cash to spend on better materials.

I meant res. down, sorry.
Ok, well you were suggesting to double up or twist the wire, which would result in a higher resistance. I don't seem to have the lung capacity of some of these vapers who draw on their devices for which seems like forever... 4 or 5 seconds is all I got.. lol

Only higer res. if you use more wraps.
Use less wraps. Although, seeing as you have no multimeter, I think that is your first issue. Your lucky you've been battery-stable this long on that mech mod! The reason I suggested doubling or twisting is to increase the gauge/surface area while keeping the ohm's low.
I'm so used to people knowing that, and I do apologize for the confusion.

Actually doubling the wire will lower the resistance, it'll be like a dual coil carto, two higher resistance wires, in parallel, equal lower resistance.

Ah, see this I didn't know. I was under the impression if it was twisted or doubled up, it was creating more resistance.

Alright, well that's the next thing to try then. I just rebuilt the coil/wick, and it's vaping like absolute crap and leaving a gross scratchy feeling on my tongue. So, back to the drawing board.
