Im using an ego one mega on an istick 40w with nickel coils and can barely taste any flavor. At the vape shop the juice that I bought when I tasted it it was amazing. The tester was also a ego one on an istick 40w. But on mine I'm getting barely any flavor. Its 0.2 ohms at 560 degrees fahrenheit (I know its a little high but I read that the istick temperature is a lower than what you have it set at). I have the coil tightened, I let it sit and soak juice for over an hour, never got any dry hits so far but im only getting some flavor on the exhale. What am I doing wrong?

First..........What did you test the Flavor in?
Every tank and every build(coil/wick) have their own characteristics.
Most need a Break-in time, but not normally very long.
*Flavor is produced by heating of the E-liquid, Not the age of the Wick. Some wick materials take a bit to fully saturate and give maximum liquid flow.

You Say, you Read. What you Read was another persons Opinion.
Just as a Temperature set to low will deliver a poor Vape, a temperature set to High can ruin a Vape.

*Set Temperature should be considered Flavor Dependent. Different blends and Different Flavor types work best at Specific Temperatures.

Always best to start a little low and work up to a good flavorful vape.

Best of luck.

Thats why I use kanthal hehehe

You have to sacrifice a little when using TC. If you have a dna200 or a 350j and wrap your own coils you can get a good vape but its still missing just a little something that keeps you wanting more. I just use kanthal it is what I like. I encourage you to keep experimenting and find what works for you then just stick with it because that is always the right vape.

Most premade TC coils need to break in before the work right. It usually takes about half a tank to a full tank before they really start working correctly.

The other aspect is the temperature. Some juices taste best with a hotter temperature, some with a cooler temperature. If you're at 560F you may want to try backing it down to around 525F and see if the flavor improves. If it's better at 525F then try going both up and down in 10F increments. If dropping or increasing it by 10F improves the flavor more then keep adjusting it that direction until you find the sweet spot where it's producing the flavor where you want it.
