I think you need to sit down with your mum and explain that you are using the e-cig to help you stop smoking.

My mom is Japanese, and I likewise hid my smoking (for 35 years) from her. I mean I never ever smoked in front of her. But I'm sure she could smell it on me and in my house/apartment. But we just never have talked about it. Is is very bad to disrespect/dishonor Asian mommies. So I know where he's coming from.
The only difference, though, is that I smoke the e-cigs directly in front of her. I explained the technology, and she seems fine with it. I smoke while driving her car and her in it. I smoke in my home in front of her.
Finally, for the first time in my life, I can actually smoke in front of my mom without hurting her deeply.
She watched her husband of 50 years die of lung cancer, so she has always been against smoking.

ice we've talked about this with fish before his parents take smoking very seriously even though his father smokes cigarettes this will not go away in the morning.but it was bound to happen sooner or later fish.

Like marianoo said Sit down with your mum and take it apart.
Tell her that its not smoking its vapour.
The problem you might have is if you are still smoking real cigs your mum might smell them on you and think this is creating the smell.

DevilFish, like marian00 suggested, sit down with your mom and explain the e-cig in detail from start to finish. Show her that you are trying to quit and that you meant no disrespect, that is why you are using the e-cig, for your health and her concerns. She loves you and hopefully will understand how this will help you.

What wrong with your 901? Is it totally dead, or just down on vapour? I'm getting close to having bought 60 901's (for friends, family, colleagues etc.), and i have only seen one die completely. It died because the battery didn't charge/discharge. Apart from that, i have only had a battery and an atomizer where the threads separated from the barrel. Lots of them start producing less and less vapour after a while though.
If you're just down on vapour, you may need to clean your atomizer (or buy new batteries!)
