No Lock Mech Hack: Nemesis, caravella, and similar mech tubage.

Here's a life hack I developed while I still worked for a vape company. This hack applies to nemesis mechs, caravellas, and any meck with a certain gap between the button.

The nemesis in the picture is a mix between brass and silver. The lock ring is silver. For the nemesis, I placed a clear oring on the top so that it doesnt lock to the tub and it creates just the right gap so that the lock ring cant be lifted all the way up either. This allows for the bigger (Black) o-ring from a throw away rta/rda to act as the "clip" that stops the button from being suppressed without at least ~6lbs of force.

Below are the pictures of the caravella and the nemesis rocking this life hack that allows you to put down lock ring mechs without having to twist the ring.

It is the only way I use a mech. Until someone offers a simple as a trade for some goodies I have.

Welcome and nice little use of a oring. What size did you use? I got magnets and 2 on top and one on the bottom allows me to not lock it and set it down as well.

Seems magnets are a better fix and still allow you to lock the mod when needed.

I assume you put all of them so they resist each other? The top two resisting each other. The bottom one resisting the closest on top?

I ask cause I like this idea.

I like it. Love my Nemesis hate how long it takes to lock. Been thinking about making a kydex half ring the size of the lock ring space allowing it to snap in and lock but I'll try this first.

You guys are all right. I magnets have remedied the issue and is by far the best way to go. I was using the hack only because I had a spring in my mech for the longest time.

The oring size is any that come in the rda/rta's. The o-ring currently on my is the big oring off a useless genny atty I had lying around.

If you have a spring, use the hack. If you have a magnet....your g2g

I like it ran it today with a bit larger oring and it rolls into the gap locking the device and rolls out fast and easy. Problem solved for me.
