Just checked safety of borax for cats, and it's not clear. Will check with my vet to see what he says. Even if I can't use it where the girls can get to it, it would be useful for use inside cupboards and under sinks. Thanks for the tip!

If this infestation continues, I may consider joining you, Motor! Though I'm not sure how well I'd do in winter... Spent a few days in Murmansk years ago, in November. Froze my little patootie (Aniaspeak for I didn't do well there in winter).

Still, it remains an option.

The spelling of my name is from Poland, though I'm not.

My "girls" had the operation in infancy; they don't even know what the "in heat" noise is!

Thanks for the kind words. Actually, being with all the good folks on the forum all morning, chain vaping, got the smoke monkey off my back. Don't drink soda, but I'm vaping cola juice and watching Family Guy... The cats are locking and loading, in case the fun and games start again tonight. But I'm cool! I'm ready! Bring 'em on... I used to use the 20 Mule Team Borax all the time around my full grown Labrador. Even sprinkled it on her bedding. But I wouldn't use it around puppies. Puppies like to lick everything.

Now the diatomaceous earth is ok around puppies. Diatomaceous earth is even put into animal feed by commercial outfits. I get mine at Home Depot.

What kinda puppy ya got? Pics would be good. Love them puppies.

Pets we got, coming out our ears. I'll start with oldest and work to littlest.

Shelley: 9 year old mutt who closely resembles a great pyrenese, except she's WAY shorter.

Panda: 5 year old mutt, Shelley's his mom, but we never had the pleasure of meeting his dad. He's white like Shelley with black spots hence his unique name

Twinkle-Toes: s/o brought home for Christmas, about 8 months old, pekingese brindle.

Chente: s/o brought home for Christmas, about 8 months old, 4 pound long haired chihuahua black with gold ruff.

Chairman meow: s/o brought home for Christmas, about 1 year old, blue point siamese kitty.

2 teddy bear hamsters, 2 silver dollar turtles, 2 hermit crabs.

Sorry no pics, lost the cord to connect camera to computer. Hey, another order from Fasttech!! By the way, s/o brought the pets home for Christmas, one for him and one each for my 2 girls. Guess what I got? Yep, cleanup duty!!

None of those bother me. Scorpions bother me.

Bed bugs are horrid. You wake up, go sit on the can, and 5 minutes later, you're scratching every inch of your arms and legs... I've had my place sprayed twice in the past month, and I'm still itchy. Pretty much had to pack up my entire apartment too, I'm living out of boxes and garbage bags. I'm doing laundry constantly too. I think what ticks me off the most, is I got them from the guy downstairs. Luckily it hasn't increased my vaping intake.

Been a vaper for 7 months. Easy transition, never wanted a smoke after switching. Realize now I've been rather smug about how easy it was for me.

Until last night. Had a tremendous shock (6 years in this apt., never saw a roach until last night.) Two big ugly MF'ers, and in my bedroom! I hate those bugs!!! The cats alerted on them, I got rid of them, and spent the rest of the night sitting up holding a can of Raid. Normally I handle things like this fairly well, but today I'm increasingly a nervous wreck. Adrenaline overload, nuseated, shakey, can't focus. And I want a cigarette! Lordy how I want a smoke.... Am vaping up a storm, and intellectually I know a smoke isn't going to make me feel better, haven't given in so far, but....

I think a hug would help... ?

You might want to try keeping a juice around with a Nicotine content that's higher than your normal juices so when you're craving an analog cig you just vape the higher nicotine juice and those cravings should subside. Just an idea

Quiet night, no alerts. Laughing at myself for leaving all the lights on, like a child scared of the dark. Yeah, like a few little light bulbs are gonna scare those ugly buggers away!

Waiting for Exterminator Person, due within the hour. Have to take an allergy pill now, because the chemicals will trigger a major attack. So when I get back to you, the place will have been Exterminated, and I'll be coming to you from LalaLand...
