The answer is simple:

Learn to DIY!!! :D

Except for the tobacco flavors, which will probably still be okay, most of the other flavorings have legitimate uses in the Candy Industry...

So what are they gonna do?? Shut down companies like LorAnn, Flavor Art, et al???

Nope... The answer is to become as self sufficient as we can, and that includes learning to build our own coils, too!!

And without nic base it would be a waste of time for most. Nicotine is the only tobacco product in ecigs. I bet when the smoke clears (pun intended) not just anybody will be able to buy it. That's where their control will be.

I agree...it will be just like pseudo-ephedrine, where you will have to give them your State issued ID(providing proof of date of birth and trackable address), and sign for it (waiver stating you know what your doing with it and accept all responsibility for its use), from a licensed pharmacy(oops, how many nic sellers right now are licensed pharmacists?).

I suspect that Big Tobacco sees this as an opportunity to reclassify themselves as pharmaceutical companies and Big Pharma sees this as an opportunity to produce a more profitable and more effective solution to their own misconceived products and go head to head with or get control of tobacco for themselves. Each of these big entities may start out with only a few 'flavors' but we may see a situation where we will see Cowboy Red flavor from the 'new' tobacco giant, being positioned next to the Big Pharma Pink Wintergreen flavor ?

MMm, mmm, yummy ! (Not)

P.S. Btw, as for the penny per sample idea...why not make it 1/10th of a penny per sample...like a coupon ?

Speaking of costs, where's the Economic Impact Analysis? Reference 194 in the proposed rule document states that it can be found here:

Economic Impact Analyses of FDA Regulations

But I don't see it.

I mentioned this a while back, I'm in the reptile/exotic pet trade, and this was argued. The problem we ran into is our impact was underestimated (details I am unsure of) but here is one known thing; if you section the industry into just e-liquids does that meet threshold value, or any other individual slice of the vaping industry for that matter. In my industry they sliced out just a few species, next a few more, then another slice, and so on.

I do believe our industry is large enough to surpass the threshold by a wide margin (if taken as a whole).

The legal battle will cost millions guys, and we need legal action on the table quick. Two years will be gone in a flash.

We (wherever you are) need to support our local B&M shops that pay taxes, employ people, and create a paper trail that's highly visible. That's what will make a huge difference. Yes I know it will cost more, but I can assure you if we don't win this, it will cost a whole lot more down the road.
