No More Throat Hit?

Throat hit was a big deal for me when I started vaping. I originally ordered a Firelight Micro which I believe is a 401 or 402 and, although I have a KR808, I still use my Micro. The KR808 so far strikes me as just a piece of junk *sigh*.

Anyway, lately I've been having trouble getting a decent hit when I vape. I had been taping up one of the holes (there are two) on the Micro, as suggested, and that worked beautifully. Now, nothing. I figured it might be my atomizers or even my battery, so I purchased a new battery and two new atomizers directly from the manufacturer. This didn't help at all. I'm still having the exact same problem.

The juice I use seems to have no impact. This happened overnight. Its extremely frustrating. Could it be my battery charger? I've only had it a few weeks, but I'm wondering if that could cause my throat hit to just vanish like that.

I'm really tempted to get a syringe and try the cartomizer juice injections and see if I can get a decent vape off the KR808. Right now its just like sucking on an unlit cigarette.

Any ideas would be great.

I was using TrueSmoker's DK-Tab, which is absolutely heavenly.

Right now I'm using the Firelight 24mg carts which get me by until my new order of DK-Tab arrives. Those usually hit pretty harsh, but right they just aren't doing jack. I'm getting a lot of vapor, as usual, but this thing used to hit like a truck – better than an analog even. I've covered most of the variables with little success.

All I can think of is that

A.) Since Firelight doesn't mark their boxes, they may have sent me 12 or 18mg carts instead of 25s

or

B.) My battery charger is having issues.

I'll be getting some of Walrus's Atomic Fireball in today. I'm going to try that and see if I can't get a hit of some sort.

It may just be that Firelight uses a juice that doesn't have a throathit, but when you first used it, it felt like it did due to the fact that you were new to vaping.

My juice kicks me in the throat BAD first thin in the morning, and most people I let vape it cough their guts out, BUT by the middle of the afternoon, it has little to no effect on me. Sometimes it is just like cigarettes, and once you get used to it, it doesn't have the same effect.

Ok, I found the problem.

Apparently the problem is simply that I'm an idiot I forgot that new atomizers sometimes take a while to really kick in and start working well. My old one was petering out and wasn't giving any throat hit and I had to work the new ones for a while. All is well and good now and this Atomic Fireball juice is awesome!
