Hello everybody,

I'm a complete newbie to this. I bought a firelight micro ecig from e cigarettes national. I'm not getting much vapor. I read about all these different types of attys and whatnot. different voltages etc.... I'm just trying to find a product that will give me that good throat hit. this firelight micro for one is very hard to hit. I have to take a nice long and slow draw to get even an under par amount of vapor. Is there anything I could do different to get a better amount of vapor or some mod I could do to make it draw a bit easier?? Any input would be of help. I'm pretty lost here. >_<

Thanks

I'm not familiar with that particular model but it could be a flooded atty or not enough liquid on the atty. Try blowing out the atty with a quick burst of air from your mouth. If it's flooded that will help. Make sure the battery connection and threads are clean as well. Also, some batteries do not deliver the full charge after a while so make sure your battery is fully charged. Not sure if this will help but on some models this is the culprit.

The problem is that you are using prefilled cartridges. If you didn't buy liquid. Do so now and wait until you get it to use your ecig. It will make a huge difference in the vapor.

Put a drop of liquid on the atomizer bridge each time you vape or notice the vapor dropping off or a change in the taste/flavor. You can't rely on the cartridges of those to deliver enough liquid on the atomizer (and the mini cartridges don't hold much either).

You can push the center of a cartridge up with a paperclip or pin pushed through the top hole. Drip liquid into the poly filling inside the little part that pushes up, then reseat it. Add liquid to the bridge and you should be vaping along. The website where you purchased may have a video on how to do it. I'll try to find one and post a link for you.

When I use my mini, I fill the wells in a contact lens case with liquid and just dip the atomizer bridge into the liquid. An easy way to keep liquid on the atomizer.

You can find more info on the mini models and their use here on the forum RN 4081 *Super Mini* - E-Cigarette Forum

Hi, I found these two threads about the firelight for you, I guess they're not that great. The good news is they got you to try vaping! Now it's just a matter of finding an e-cigarette that will work for you. As with post of the posts you will find, I recommend the 510 kit (cignot is supposed to be the least expensive with great service) and some juices for topping off. I definitely recommend getting a manual button on your kit. It seems weird to have an "on" button on your smoke, but the result is much better and you get used to it really quickly. I also definitely recommend getting the juice and filling the carts (or the cartomizers) yourself, you can pick better flavors and it saves some money too. Good Luck! And welcome to the ECF.

It looks like what you purchased is a "super mini". Unfortunately, "mini" also describes the battery reserve power. Without more mah (milliamp hours) the atomizer doesn't get enough power to properly vaporize the liquid. And, the cartridges are so very small that they can't hold much liquid at all and thus keep the atomizer wet.

The advice to look into the 510 by others above is solid. Get yourself a manual battery if you go that way too. YOU want to be in charge in how long the atty heats up, not an electronic circuit.

Good luck. Check out Don DaBoom Vapor's terrific piece on PVs. It will explain much.

Cignot boxless is the best price. Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store.

It seems to be where everyone starts out and their company is great with customer service and prices. Be sure to get some liquid and maybe a pack of cartridges.

If you want to save battery life, might consider picking up a passthrough or a PCC for it too.
