Unless the Propylene Glycol or Glycerin forms some type a barrier, which I doubt, the lungs are the best at diffusing nicotine to the blood. The surface area of the average set of lungs are about the same as a tennis court.

Doesn't the study (forget who did it) suggest that the nicotine molecules in vaporized form are too big to be absorbed with any efficiency by the lungs?

Or am I just drunk right now?

Honestly I don't know about any study, but my personal experience is plenty of nicotine is getting through. I seem to be the odd man out with the transition to digital. Once I took the first hit of vapor I haven't touched analog. I have been wanting to quit for years, maybe that's part of the reason I haven't looked back. That and I made a deal with God that if he would get my wife through this COPD I would quit smoking tobacco. Been 1 week and 10 hours now, I'm pretty sure I would hate the taste of a cigarette now.
