Hi there!

Sorry my english is not good, so hopefully you understand me. :)

I have smoked ecigarettes for about 1,5 years now and I started with those cheap starter kits and they felt good and practical. I use 18mg liquid in those. Then I wanted something better. I watched several youtuber reviews about different "higher end" products. So I bought myself a iTaste 3.0pro starter kit with 0.5ohm coil and iSub tank.
Now I don't know that am I happy or not?
I still use same 18mg liquid as before but hardly get any good "hits". I tried so many combos of watts and volts without any good results. Higher watts and volts I feel like my lips are burning and lower I get only a taste of liquid without vapour. Am I doing something wrong here? o_O Haven't got a chance to try lower mg liquids, (since those are according to this stupid Finnish law not allowed to sell here, online ordering from other countries is only option) maybe it has something to do with it? I have change coils to see that one is maybe broken but no. Can you give me any hints what to try next. Different kind of tank or coil maybe? Lower mg liquid might do the trick?

Thanks in advance

18mg is high for a subohm tank. If its too harsh then you might want to try a lower mg. Make sure the coil is primed with eliquid before use, that your airflow is open, and that everything is tightened up.

Edit: I should add that a higher VG eliquid will yield more vapor but you could run into wicking issues at higher (70+) VG levels.

Maybe its about the airflow... When you take a vape from the new devices does the air resistance feel the same?
If you have 18mg Liquids you could buy just some Glycerine or Propylenglycol without nicotine to mix them down (I guess you can still buy those without limitations).
Is the drip tip the same style as before?

Hi and welcome,
How do you vape?
Do you take normal draws, like a cigarette? (Mouth to Lung)
MANY of the newer devices require you to draw a HUGE volume of air to make the unit function correctly. (Direct Lung)
Quadruple your inhale speed and strength and see if that makes a difference.

You are not alone.
Cheers

I would say you are vaping it mouth to lung instead of lung hitting them, full air open and inhale directly into your lungs will make a massive difference, you need to lower you nic level asap or your going to feel poorly.

Get some high VG juice and around 6mg nic :thumb:, higher the VG ratio, the more vapor it will produce too.

Thank you for your replies.
I used to vape mouth to lung but now I've learn that using iTaste it is better to direct lung. I went to local market and bought same manufacturer 0mg liquid which are available. About half and half mix and OMG...what a difference. Now it starts to feel like I imagine it would be. A little more inhale practice and i'm happy. :)
Thank you!
