No resistance reading in russian 91

Hey,

just got my russian 91 earlier today.
tried rebuilding the coils twice but both times, i am unable to get a resistance reading from my provari or my resistance checker.

i am assuming this is because of the connection.
anybody know a fix for this?

Did you try to loose the center post on the 510 connector on 91%? It seems it does not connect to provari or ohm tester properly.

just tried loosening the 510 connection to do a test.
now i can read it but i get ridiculously low resistance.
0.06-0.1 ohms.

help!!

Can you post more details on what you built? e.g. what wire, what is diameter as well as loops/wraps...etc.?

I had to put an o-ring at the 510 center post because it was not reaching my ZNA. You might want to try this.

ok got it fixed.
had to remove the whole center pin and not just adjust the screw, then put it back together.
