Hey guys,
I finally got a russian 91% and I loovve it blows my protank clear out of the water on vapor production and flavor. But with all its awesomeness there is one thing that is bugging me the positive post on the deck pivots all over the place when I am trying to build my coils I tried tightening the screw at the 510 connection but it didnt help is this normal for the russian I don't recall seeing this in any videos I saw. Any insight?

I had the same problem at first with my kfl+ which should be the same basic setup. At first I would build my coil and then straighten the block. Later I was able to tighten the 510 connection enough so I don't have the problem any more.

Try taking your deck completely apart to make sure all the threads are good. That block should tighten down completely.

I will give it a try when I break it down tomorrow thanks =)

When you tighten that 510 conn. use a reg. screwdriver. The mini screwdrivers they ship with these rba's don't give enough torque to tighten that block.
Keep an eye on the block so it stays straight and don't moose the screw down too tight and you will be alright.

I use a Nemesis so I don't need a adjustable 510 connection and can keep it pretty tight.

Take the 510 pin out, inside is another, separate screw that goes through the deck. You can tighten that a little and still keep the positive pin perfectly adjustable.

If you do this, I'd advise you to add an extra o-ring (there should be one there already) onto the pin, to keep a bit of tension between those two screws. Got a nasty hard short once because the connection was a bit tenuous with only one ring after I'd tightened the positive block.
