Hi - looking for a product recommendation. I need some cartos for the 510 that don't take a syringe to refill. I picked up some of the mega cartos that they carry on madvapes, but they all taste like the air that comes out of a fresh can of tennis balls (yuck!). Asking so I can put together a conversion kit for my nephew, who is an addict in recovery and should definitely NOT have a syringe lying around.

Any recommendations would be very helpful. Thanks!

Litecigusa.net also has the standard Boge 510, SLB 510, and KR808D-1 cartomizers - if you don't want to use low-resistance cartos that will shorten the overall life of your 510 or eGo batteries. They are $7.95 for a box of 5 (shipping fee is $2 for orders under $75) and can be easily filled and refilled by dripping directly into the filler from the mouth end. They also can be refilled many times.

I use the Boge 510 and KR808D-1 cartomizers from litecigusa.net. I'm still using some Boge 510 cartos that I've been refilling for the last four or five weeks, and they still taste like new.

With the KR808D-1 cartomizers, I use 510-battery to 808/901-atomizer adapters that I bought at goodprophets.com for 99 cents each, the cheapest I've found. They work very well, and I only had to use a screwdriver to turn the slot on the adapter two full turns to the left, in order to lift the round connector out a little to make better contact with the round connector on the battery -- for a better, lighter draw.

I read a lot here, and have a few mega eGo cartos myself. Saw a few posters swearing that syringe method is best with them, but another (with a few chiming in for good measure) that using a drip method into the hole at the battery end of the carto works just as well.

I just filled my first mega carto (carmel cream from madvapes, yum! definitely one I don't mind sticking in a carto) with the drip method, and seems to be going fine. I lost count on the drops (new blank carto), so hopefully I don't end up finding out too soon what that burnt taste is like ;o) So far, tasting great, no tennis balls in mine ;o)
