No tobacco with ecigs?

i got my new ego kit today. When i was looking through the info that came with it, they mentioned one of the atvantages of e-cigs is no tobacco....ummmm isn't the ejuice with nicotine derived from tobacco? And if i vape a tobacco flavor, won't it have actual tobacco in it??? Any answers??

well it's derived from tobacco, but no tobacco is included in your kit or juice.

Sort of like corn syrup is used to sweeten popsicles, but you wouldn't really say there's corn in your frozen treat.

The larger implication of the statement "No Tobacco" is in fact "No Combustion" no burning of the tobacco, paper, and the 1000 or so chemicals that are created during combustion to produce the 4000 chemicals, 60 of which are "known carcinogens" that are inhaled when you "smoke"!

Vapor is believed to be much safer, and you still get nicotene if you wish.

Perhaps it's because tobacco product contain MAOI's (an anti-depressant) so you must be very clear when prescribing any medications to people who use tobacco products so that the new medicine won't react poorly with the MAOI's in cigarettes.

Make sure your doctor knows that you are still using nicotine. I know that women who smoke and take birth control pills have a greater risk of blood clots (stroke etc..) but I'm not sure what part of smoking causes that. You should be ok, since people who vape experience increased blood flow and oxygenation, but just to be sure.....

well she (the doc) took me off em back when i was smoking and didn't offer to put me back on when she heard of my conversion to vaping
