So....the jerk at work got into this ridiculous argument about transferring a phone call to another member of our team (while our manager was sitting right next to me) and quit! I hate to say it, but nobody on the team is the slightest bit upset about it, either. Although we've been busy, the last couple of days at work have been incredibly peaceful and happy! Laughter once again fills our office and all of the tension and stress walked right out the door with that insufferable, egotistical, sexist pig.

W00T!!!

WOH: there it is, right there in the middle:

Kay, my husband does a fishing trip and a golf trip every year. I honestly look forward to having the place to myself!

Yep! I get to have 4 days of ME TIME! :D I'm not complaining. Going to take long baths, watch movies til daylight, sleep til I wake on my own, and eat junk food. And whatever else comes to mind. LOL.

Wish my DH hunted or fished or golfed or anything that would get him out of the house for a few days!!

It's nice. But I do miss him after the first couple of days.

How is tromping around in the cold woods with a bunch of strangers in the woods who most likely are drunk...destressing! I just don't understand men!

Cold?? Texas?? Not even close right now. He knows all of the guys in their camp, no strangers. Anything that is not at work supervising a shop full of guys is destressing to him.

Hello Ladies~
Things are well here :) Go to another dr on October 5th :) Cancer dr is referring me there so the other dr can either give me medication or radiation, so that the cancer doesn't return :) He said about a 50/50 cahnce, so we shall see :) I am not worried about it actaully, because I am keeping my positive attitude all the way :)

@ Kay, this should be your space time for yourself :) Pamper yourself and enjoy it :) Example: Put a bunch of candles around the bath tub, get a glass of your favorite wine, and your favorite vape and relax and enjoy :) Drink with one hand and vape with the other, lol :) I don't get to do that, unless I kick hubby out of the house, lol :)

@rain, glad you are feeling better :)
@ WOH, we change because of the atmosphere of the poeple that influence us :) Not that we want to, but other people can't stand for others to be happy, so they make life miserable for everyone else :) There was a saying that I read once, "For every minute you are unhappy, you take away from the time that you can be" :)
Hugs,
Skeeterkck

And so it begins. Being a hunting widow a lot for the next few months. I'm on my own for the next 4 days.

He works hard, he deserves it. This is the time of year he goes out in the woods and de-stresses, hangs with his hunting buddies, and relaxes.

Good morning ladies.

WoH, whew! Nothing like losing the person who made it difficult for everyone.

Kay, enjoy your time! You'll be busy making venison jerky when DH gets back :)

Good to see you Skeeterkick. Your positive attitude will make all the difference no matter what the second doc prescribes.

Morning ladies!!!!!!!

Glad to hear you're doing well Skeeter! Positive attitude will help SO MUCH! Biggest thing I realized when my son had cancer, if you stay positive it helps you and your body!
New meds seem to be helping a lot. Having a bit of trouble getting to sleep at night but other than that I feel better.
Kay enjoy the time you got :) makes you appreciate him more when he gets back I'm sure, just like he appreciates you more when he gets back (and if he doesn't, smack him!)
