Pam - does this "I've been approved" mean you're going to sell them now? Super cute! I just can't say enough about them - don't really want to give the cutie up, but I want to share! No, he doesn't have a hat. I ended up scrapping the cartos for skis idea and put him in a piece of styrofoam shaped like a "window" and put the carto on top as a chimney. Used one of those little brush picks you sent me as a snow covered tree. If I had cell service out here I'd snap a pic for you all but my micro sd adapter is MIA :( Anyway, it came out cute and the bottle of liquid will just be in the box wrapped in green tissue paper. Thanks for offering to help!!

Omg, that is CUTE! I wanna make one of those now!!!

Speaking of which, I've been invited to a local craft show (free booths, they just ask for a 10% donation of profits to go to their charity) next weekend to sell my items, I think it's a nice idea, but I don't have enough items made to go, and I'd have to take off of work since it doesn't end until 6. I could theoretically make enough items to take by then, but I wonder how many I'd need?

Oh! that is really cute Paislia- some one is gonna love getting it!

Congrats Pam! Your new accessories supplier title looks good on you :)

How big are the booths Pretty? The more you have the better, but if you have some really cool displays (that take up space) you can highlight what you have and the table won't look bare if you don't have time to makes tons of new stuff by next weekend. Would you possibly be able to sell enough to make up for taking off work?

Pretty - have they had this craft show before? If it is annual you could ask organizers what kind of attendance is typical. . . . . Depending on the category of the "items" (I'm guessing you're not allowed to say what) - ie jewelry, food, functional art, etc I would think a 10% of attdendance would do it for non food and 20-25% of attendance for food items (people snack at those things! lol). It's part of the charm of a craft show for me though - see which item became the new "hot" thing everyone had to have :). Good luck in your decision! And thanks for appreciating my nick knack - now you see why I don't really want to let Frosty go - and yet I must! :) Have a great day everyone!!!!

PS - thanks CES!!

I'm going slightly crazy. They've started the pet commercials on TV that always rip my heart out. I can name that tune in 2 notes and have the channel changed in 3. I just cannot look at all those little sad faces.

The ones that have kittens that look like this? I just placed an order on Amazon for cat food and this was the ad they chose to show me. Sorry, there's no more room at this inn!

Paislia, I have pictures of my items here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...hat-your-interests-crafts-60.html#post4401945 There are some more on the last page too.

Since I typically don't make much at work (especially around Christmas, everyone's rude and leaves smaller tips because they're spending all of their money on Christmas gifts and fighting Christmas crowds; last night I only made $36 for 7 hours of work.), I imagine it wouldn't be much of a loss. I don't know how big the booths are, need to contact her I guess. I think I'd need at least 100 items though.

You know how people are always supposed to be more cheery and giving during the holidays? That only seems to apply to friends and family. I've been in retail many years during the holidays, and we all dread it. Not because of the long hours, but because of the people.

I got Christmas Eve off by default this year, super happy about that! I usually do most of my Christmas shopping that day lol. Most of my shopping is done online around Black Friday, but it always seems that I have one more idea at the last minute or realize that I need something else lol.

I was at Walmart when it closed at 6:00 on Christmas Eve a few years ago, it was insane! Lines were an hour and a half long, there were still people wandering the store when I finally got out at 7:30, the lines were at least as long as they were when I first got in line, and there were hundreds of people trying to get into the parking lot and front doors! Lines of cars looking for a parking spot, and security guards at the doors barring people from getting in. I felt bad for the people, you just knew that they were needing gifts for their kids or something and couldn't get in to get them; and many probably saved Walmart until last because they thought they'd be open later than the other stores. I'll never make that mistake again! Lol!

I figured out that I'd only need to sell about 15 items to make as much as I'd make at work lol; how sad is that...

Good luck on the craft sale!! never understood why people are so rude to perfect strangers this time of year. I always tip 20% even this time of year.

Our Wal-mart was insane today!! Told DH that we are doubling up next weekend, I will not go to Wal-mart on Christmas Eve!!

I sold an order tonight while I was at work that I need to make lol, so I guess since I'll have the stuff out then I'd better get started on making some more!

I made $20 tonight, a Saturday night, for 6 hours of work. This is ridiculous! Tomorrow better be better, or I'm gonna cry. The whole idea of me picking up more shifts now that I'm done with school is to make more money to buy Christmas gifts...not to work more so I can make the same amount! I was so mad, I wanted to rip someone's head off! Good thing I'm too good natured for that lol; I usually end up making jokes about it and laughing it off, otherwise I'd lose my mind. Other things happened too, so it was just a bad night all around.
