Good morning great ladies of TWR
I stayed up getting my laundry done. Since I was lazin around with the pups this weekend it didn't get done. I don't see how people can stay up late and get to work on time the next morning. If I had to be there at 10:00 I might could do it LOL.

I was a bit of a late riser this morning...probably 'cause I stayed up till 2 AM !!

Its a cold windy, raining, dreary day here in Cleveland. After yesterdays 60* and sunny yesterday. Wish it would just SNOW and stay cold. This is getting old.
Went to have my eyes checked this weekend. They were out of focus. Eyes are getting worse- I'm getting old BUT!!! I hate glasses, and found out they now make contacts for my problem! YEAH!!!! So I got 4 different colors. I love this! I have funky blue/green/brown hazel eyes, so all colors work!
My girls are so cute(driving me crazy), they are in the "talk til you drop" stage. They are only quiet when they are getting in trouble. Why? I sure wish I could go back and live the stages all over, but I dont want to miss a thing! So much fun seeing them develop. And they catch everything! Life is never dull here!

I announce I am not a deadbeat. Yesterday I thought I would go ahead and become "verified" on ECF. In order to do that I have to become "verified" on PP. I don't like giving anyone more financial info than I think is necessary. I guess it's a good thing I hadn't planned to buy or sell in the classifieds. I just hope not having a "verified" by my ECF name doesn't make me look like a shady character.

I was reading about the "verified" stuff and I didn't want to do the pay pal thing either. After the Zappos/Amazon fiasco, this stuff is getting really creepy. A couple of my friends got notified by Zappos. So glad I didn't get anything from their for Christmas presents!

I've not wanted to link my bank account to PayPal either... but once ECF knows that i really am who i say i am i could unlink the account.
(use a second checking account...for safety !) We have a secondary account for all online stuff...just a fast transfer of funds and go !
Yes, the seperate credit card idea is the safest. You always have recourse and limited (usually max $50), if any, liability with any credit card. What you don't want to do is use your bank debit card because it reaches right into your bank account.
The PayPal thing though: Being "verified" thru PayPal has nothing to do with your bank account. I have always been verified and have never given banking info to PayPal.....just credit card info. I also don't have a PayPal "bank account". What it means is similar to what ECF is doing---tying your e-mail address listed here on ECF to credit cards you have on file with PayPal, which in turn are matched to your home address, which is listed on the actual credit card account. It truly is an additional weapon against fraud if you only deal with users who are "verified".
Edit: Strike the above paragraph. I was wrong. "Verified" has a meaning other than what it used to some years ago. Now you MUST tie you bank info to the PayPal account in order to be verified. I just got the e-mail from Joker saying I'm not and checked the PayPal site.

Apparently being verified through PP does require a bank account, they already have my bank issued charge card on file. I don't feel comfortable giving them more financial information even though I have several checking accounts I could offer. I don't like the Big Brother feel of it. The charge card should be sufficient - that's as far as I'm going.
Yup. Now I know what I was thinking....... I have the "verified by VISA" feature, where I'm taken to their site and asked for my password in order to use my credit card.
