Afternoon Everyone!

Question for ya, anyone give me a name of some really really good but non abrasive silver polish? My son has decided to play the flute instead of the trumpet, and my old student flute (20 years old at this point) is in need of a serious cleaning! No way am I letting him take my french key hole flute to school as a 5th grader. Apparently the stuff I used to use is no longer in production.

What about one of those jewelry cleaning cloths? They are very gentle yet really take off heavy tarnish well. Plus, it would be less messy than a cream or liquid...

They have cloths now? Spiffy! Thanks guys! Last one I used was a very thick creame, I would spread it on thick let it sit for 10 mins then gently wipe it off, no buffing required. The music store reccomended it since the student flute is only plated silver, and not very thickly.

Those wipes sound perfect guys, are they wet wipe type things? I have a very old silver polishing cloth that came with the flute, but it is seriously not up to the tast LOL. What store did you find the wipes in?

Its getting better. My hearing comes and goes, its wierd like someone hitting the power button, just boom its gone and that causes me to have balance issues but its getting so they are spreading further apart.Instead of moment to moment its hour to hour.I just have to stop a minute and readjust myself, lol.

So glad you are getting better!!!!

I've heard banana peels work good but never have tried it.

Interesting.....

No,I had a severe infection in my head that spread from an inner ear infection.Plus I had a tumor in there. They removed most of my ear canal all the way into my inner ear and rebuilt it with muscle and prosthetics, plus a mastiodectomy and they had to remove more bone, tissue and muscle. It was a mess and then it came back and they had to redo the whole thing and put titanium implants in there. Its been like 7 months since the 1st surgery and the 2nd was in December.Hopefully within the next few months everything will heal into place and Ill be good to go.
