Thanks Keyzy!

Hey, change of subject -- any of you make jewelry or know someone who does? I have an idea for a jewelry design that I think is original and cool, but I do NOT have a talent for making it!! I'm good at TONS of crafts, but that's one I couldn't make any headway on. Would love to get together with someone who does metal jewelry (probly silver) and see what we could come up with.

My friend makes silver jewelry. Her facebook page is earthen wire. You can also find her shop by the same name on etsy.

You guys might have been thinking of me for the pre vet comment . I also make silver jewelry but i make chain maille style not custom work really. I posted pictures of my friends custom work that she dis for me to wear to my nephews wedding (i think) somewhere a few pages back in this thread.

As an update we are now living in the 1500's water wise. Not only is the hot water heater still broken but a pipe burst (again!!!) And we dont have the money to fix it. So no running water at all. Water jug with spigot to wash hands running into a bucket we use to flush the potty... / sigh at least i dont think things can get much worse!

Oh, man, Seri! That sucks! Wish we didn't live so far apart -- hubby and I both do plumbing! Are your pipes in a slab or in the walls? If the access is easy and it's pvc (plastic pipe) it is SO easy to fix! If you can make that jewelry, you can repair pvc and they have how-to videos on hgtv.com, diynetwork.com and probly the Lowe's and Home Depot sites. If it's copper, that's actually not hard, but a little trickier, but I learned how from videos. I realize I'm a lot handier than most (I can do almost anything I see done, just slower), but it really isn't hard. Either way, I'm sending out good vibes to the universe!

Hooray, hooray, hooRAY!!!!

ACL is NOT torn after all, just the lesser damage that I actually have distorts it on the MRI and makes it look that way. Actually, the meniscus (sp?), which is the sort of cupped disc that cushions the knee joint, is folded in and doc says in the world of knee surgery, this is an easy peasy! About a 30 minute out patient, they put me to sleep but BAREly, and I can go home about an hour after. Said most folks are on their feet in about 2 days, couple weeks of phy. therapy, continue the exercises and I'll be good as new in no time! And almost as good, I don't hafta stay off the knee!! He said use it as much as possible within reason (i.e. don't push thru much pain, don't injure it further) so no more CRUTCHES, no more WHEELCHAIR!! My legs were so crampy yesterday I felt crippled trying to walk, but already this a.m. they're almost back to normal and the knee barely hurts when I walk! :) :)

YeeeeeeHAW!! I might just hafta draw me a bronc in this summer's rodeo!! hee hee

Oh, Seri, I'll check out your friend's website -- thanks!
