Mine sucked rocks today! I am way up on all my levels and have gained weight! The good news is she put me back on estrogen! yea, me! She reckoned I was right and the good of the estrogen outweighs the bad for now.
The weird thing is that without the estrogen, I couldn't control my weight which pushes up my chorlestrol readings and my tryglcerides. I do eat right and exersize. She raised my insulin.
She did a ekg on my heart and the blood test showed no markers for heart problems, but my kidneys are not as happy with all the rises in my numbers. I need another blood test for that.
Lets see what happens in a week when I see her again.

Well it looks like a bunch of Kentucky vape folks (ok maybe 3-4 but apparently there aren't many of us) are getting together tomorrow night, so I'm excited to play dress up
and go out.

Glad to hear it Bug!!

We have Toronto Vapers get-togethers and they're a real blast too!! BornAgainst is my 'pick up person', (because he lives downtown, can't be bothered with a car..) and is every bit as nice in person as he is online..it's really fun to be able to put a face to the people you 'talk' to on a daily basis, isn't it?

Now, if we could only get a Women's Room get together set up..

Yeah, we'd probably be banned for life from whatever establishment we chose..

But, it would be FUN!!

The Florida vapers group is big. But Fl. is such a spread out state, it's hard to do much. The largest sub group is in the Tampa,St. Pete, Sarasota area. I have been to one of their get togethers..fun! Once I move back to Tampa I will be able to attend more.

I need to rant for a moment and though here was a good place... this morning I drive 40 miles for my Dr. appontment at 9:45 this morning, I get there and the parking lot is empty, I'm going while this is wierd, go inside there is one lady and she tells me the office is closed and calls whent out the other day to tell people.. I never got a call (no it was not a miss message or anything I am the only one here that answers the phone...lol) I was not happy, if they freaking called me I would not of had to drive all that way for the 4th time this week (mon. we drove to PB (the big town where everything is) for a picnic, Tue and Thur was speech for my boy, if I had gotten a call I would of just stayed home and did things around here instead of wasting my morning... errggg...

I hear that! I went to the Doc weds. for my follow up appt, and the results weren't back. Waited and waited to get in (my appt. was for 8:45) I was already not a happy camper as I don't do mornings...then she bebops in to tell me to come back when they get here!
What makes me mad is that my Dr. doesn't do appts. she takes people as they come in. because it was a follow up..they gave me an appt. She is only at that office on Weds and Sat.!

Oh my MaryKay, I would be ......, its bad enough having to be there so darn early but the whole "come back when we get the results, we do not care we just wasted your time" just ruffles me...LOL...

I guess monday I have to call (long distance) and set up another appointment, too bad I can not charge them for my time for them canceling on me with out telling me....

I went to the doctor yesterday my appt was at 1:15, they call me back at 1:45. If that is when they wanted to see then why not make my appt for 1:45 and not make me use half of my lunch hour waiting!!! By the time I drove there, waited, and drove back no lunch, good thing I can eat at my desk. I don't think they should charge us if they make us wait, then they would make less money and be more apreciative.

They allot like 15 mins per patient. But then the sales people trot in and mess everything up. If they run into a problem with a patient then that pushes your time back. If they would give more time to each patient then maybe they could be on time.
I was waiting for a Dr. to look at my back. we waited for an hour past my appt. time and I began to complain. They took me back and stuck me in a freezing room where they left me for another half hour. I looked out the window and saw him in the parking lot looking at a sports car with another guy...
I told the nurse to give me back my money and kiss my..ur..socks! I also told her he could shop for sports cars on his own time! When I saw how big her eyes got, I knew he was behind me! I turned around and told him the car was ugly and left!

I took my son to the doctor for his dislocated knee, they put us in the room with the door shut, we waited and waited and waited after 30 min I went out to find someone. I actually think they forgot we were waiting!!

Oh my... I can't believe he was shoping for a car with patiants waiting.... I know some of running a clinic (on of my friends has one) and I know it was hard for her to blance the number of appontments in a day with how many the dr. could see yada yada, but I agree they should pay you if they are waisting your time... their time isn't the only valuble time...

and what about when you tell them your name, right it down on the sign up... and they still think you are some one else...

I had a ganglion removed from my wrist around 15 years ago. Well, it came back at Xmas time, couldn't get an appointment. With ANYONE, until June 1st. Of course, it's NOT as painful as it was for FOUR MONTHS ago and decided that it would 'stay down' on the day of my appointment.

I sat there for TWO HOURS, just to SEE her. She FINALLY waltzes in, NO explanation OR apology, btw, and proceeds to tell me that, yes, she knows how painful they are, but she can't do too much if it's not UP.

WTF?

You can still FEEL it, can't you? Well, they remove it from the 'root', so if you can FEEL it, take it OUT!!

I told her that I had come TO her office in January, because it was so sore and basically begged her bee-atch of a receptionist to let me know if there was a cancellation before then, because it WAS so painful.

DID she?

NO.

So, I told the doctor that I didn't really WANT to wait until it's UP again THEN try to get another appointment with her. She gives me her card and says, 'Well, now that I've seen you, just call and tell them to squeeze you in and we will'

WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU IN JANUARY??

Just got a call from my Dr. office, that said I had left a message on the machine, I told her no I was in friday when your office was closed because I had an appointment. She told me she did not see that I had one last friday (hence why I got no call) so I am reschedualed for wednesday...

My daughter and husband see an orthopedic dr in OKC. That's at least an hours drive from our house. We tried to schedule their appointments on the same day just to save the aggravation. On one of the appointments they took my daughter to do the xray on her knee, then they called my husband into the examination room. Ok no prob, I'll wait for Tay to get done then go back with the hubby. I wait and wait and wait.......no Tay. Xrays take 5 minutes tops. After 45 minutes I ask the desk person where my daughter is. "hang on let me check" she says. She's gone 10 minutes stating she can't find her! This is a 5 story orthopedic hospital where the dr is. I looked at her and said "WTF?" Where's my kid?? They page her over the pa system. Out from around the corner, her she comes in this knee brace thingy and hadn't even seen the dr! They'd taken her to the brace shop 2 floors down without saying a word to me! I was hot! Out comes hubby saying he's done, are we ready?? Hell no, Tay hasn't even seen the dr yet! He gets upset like it was her fault that she hadn't been seen yet. OK I'd had it and told him to wait with her and I went to the car and smoked about 4 cigs in a row......................I would I handle that today??? Same way other than go to the car and VAPE
