DH had his truck towed to the shop...seems the rear end is going out (who's isn't-hummmph !)
So glad tho 'cause last night he was talking about getting a new truck ! Yikes !
He rented one to use today....have to go pick him up this evening when he returns it.

I was informed that I did not get the promotion. Both my Director and manager see that I have the potential and the drive, but it was felt that I'm not quite ready for it. However, I am going to be trained so that the next time this position becomes available I WILL be ready! I'm just going to keep plugging along and take every opportunity to pick my managers brain.

I'm sorry that you didn't get it WoH. I hope that the opportunity comes up again really soon- I know you'll be ready for it next time ( or something better will come along first)
