I've been checking all of my fav areas here on ECF all day, there's not even enough to procrastinate on. (╥﹏╥) Guess everyone took a holiday today! I ended up reading random stuff instead, but I came back every few minutes to check again!

If I had more of an imagination today I probably could have thought of something to post, but math made me brain-dead I think.

That math! I am still wondering why my 10th grade teacher made us learn logarithms..still don't know what they are and why I needed to know them..better we should have learned how to balance a check book! (Mike does ours..I hate it!)
But I love logic puzzles, my son says it's math with words instead of co-signs or cosines... whatever.

Do you give the bird breaks in the kitchen? LOL My dog insists on being in whatever room i am in right at my feet or at least in eye contact..it gets crowded in the bathroom and dangerous in the kitchen!

Yeah he screams when no one is in the room with him. He is becoming quite the pill lately. Training has begun.

Somebody told me that we're not learning this for the math, but for the logic behind the math...I think I have plenty of logic without these confusing problems! I'm actually pretty good at math, once I pick it up it's super easy for me. My biggest problem is remembering how to do what I did 2 weeks ago...damn ADHD. Word problems are my biggest headache, I can do math if you give me the problem and tell me what you want, but if you just give me information and ask me to come up with a problem AND solve it, I get a headache and end up doing the problem every which way I can think of until the answer seems right lol. I'd love to do logic problems and would probably be good at them, but I get a headache similar to doing word problems when I try.

I'm learning logarithms now actually, to me it's like; I've gone my entire life without needing to know this stuff, and it has nothing to do with my major...so WHY do I need to know this?? Oh well, this is my last math class so whatever.
