I love the pretty pvs! But my new mantra is, no more pvs. After the next two arrive......

No advice on getting school assignments done. :(

The weather has been very strange this year, hasn't it? The river ducks that usually come for food in Spring have already landed in our yard. I was so happy to see gramps that I fell all over myself finding crackers for him. This is the 4th year he's blessed us with his presence. Not sure about his lady friend, she may be new. Gramps is such a rake.

Just got a call from my oldest sons math teacher... I swear I do not KNOW what to do with that boy! UGH I am so mad right now, hes not doing his assignments again.

Anyone else have a "problem" child with regards to schoolwork? I could use some ideas on how to get him to actually do them!

Edit: I should probably mention he is 11 and starting puberty, since I know hormones play some role here, but he has been doing this since kinder!

I used to have to make my son sit at the table and do his work.....I would have to sit right there with him the whole time or he would just act like he was doing it. It made for some time together even though he was working and I was reading.

Sitting at the table with your son does sound like the only way Serianna. It's probably worth the hassle though. sigh.

Good to see you Pam!

Cisme, how cool to see the ducks return! I knew plants were starting early here- but having the ducks return early really makes the point of how warm of a winter it's been.

Kezy, I had no idea there was that much infighting happening in the FB groups. we really do need to spend our energy fighting together, not against each other! argh.

Hi everyone waving smiley-1.gif

Yes, it is really heartwarming to see a wild critter come back and visit year after year. Of course, he's just doing it for some easy food but I swear he recognizes his name. When I say gramps, he comes waddling up the patio. :)

There must be another discussion in TWR that I'm not subscribed to. I don't know what the issue is but, I wish you and your husband well, Mary Kay.

Kezy, I'm getting ready to go to town for some errands and, as I'm loading my extra pvs, your blog came to mind.

Good Morning ladies.

Im so worried about MK and my heart is breaking for her.I keep thinking about sitting beside Jeff and begging him to breath in ICU and how afraid I was. I hate to think of anyone going through that. I wish there was something I could do. (((MK))) Have faith.

I wish there was more that we could do too. I just hope she can feel the love and energy that everyone is sending.

Me too.

(((hugs MK)))
