I needed coffee, and chicken fried rice from the local thai place.... Oh, and I need another bad day like I need another hole in my head.

Sorry guys, I need to vent so here goes.

As of today....
Husband lost his job, Kids lost their medical insurance, and apparently we can't even apply for food stamps right now because he hasn't gotten his final check (April 6th) AND even then, they wont go into place until May. So, we will have 300 bucks to feed, drive, and house 4 people for the next month (possibly 2.) With our car insurance due, plus our phone bill, and a whole slew of other payments that are due in april. Oh, and cant forget the trailer and car registration which is due May 5th.

/rant off

Yeah, Im pretty mad right now.

Serianna........... you look lovely in that photo! The couple looks beautiful, too.

Just a thought - it might pay off to check into food pantries in your area; they are wonderful for those needing an interim solution. I do some work for one and although we have been hit heavily in recent months, it's amazing to see the resources that are available. It's worth a shot.

Yeah the health and human services agency gave me a phone number to call to find food banks in our area. No one answered today so i will make the phone ring off the hook again tomorrow. Just makes me go nuclear meltdown to have everything going so well and then have so many things go wrong in one day.

Thank you guys for the support. At least I'm set up ffor vaping for the next few months. I need the nic most when we cant afford it. So when we had the extra i made sure to stock up. Now I kinda wish i had banked more but we have enough stashed to pay the bills for next month at least.

Good Morning Ladies!! :)

Seri, Things have a way of working out. Last year was a very tough one for my family and I didnt think we would get through it.We are still having severe financial issues right now but we muddle through and keep the faith. Every time I was about to give up,we would somehow find a way to make it another day or week or month. Dont get depressed, just take it one day at a time. My kids have had a tough time but it brought us closer. We had to find family things to do that were free or inexpensive and we have had a lot of fun with it. Have faith and things will be okay. Im not just talking,Im living it with you,lol (((Hugs!)))

Oh Keyz I know, we did this for 4 years when DH left the navy and no nuclear plants were hiring, (still none are) and then he got this temp to hire job. Was really great and they kept saying they were going to hire him. Then they let go ALL the temps with barely a weeks notice. I have to say Im more upset that Im used to living like this than NOT living like this.

We will get through it, we did it for 4 years, we can do it again. Heck, I still shop bargin bins at the grocery store instead of full price items, and second hand shops, and we have had my mini van on PNO for the past 5 years now (yeah 1 car between the two of us for 5 years... talk about my nightmare.) We were just getting to where we were going to be able to afford its registration and insurance again too.

Finally got a hold of a food bank, apparently its by appointment only now (wasn't last year) and they don't do anything for people with dietary restrictions, which is my entire family. Guess I gotta keep looking.

Dealing with the junk of life seems to be my specialty, from medical stuff through financial. We managed to live off off 100 to 250 bucks a month for 4 years, we can do so again.

...dealing with medical forms & stuff shuts my brain down...
We've always had insurance before and I have never had to do more than sign a consent form and pay a co-payment.
There is so much paper work and forms and requests for me to fill out right now.
All the different doctors and such send their own bills, so all the paper work gets re-done their way.
The hospital is working with us to find relief...wish they'd help with the other places too !

...this stuff from Steve is mind boggling.

But, yes...one day at a time
