May a suggest using a 306 atty for flav sampling? The coil/wick/mesh sits above the base plate. I prefer the 306. Yes, the 306 fits 510 threaded batts!

This. I'd also recommend resisting the temptation to use LR attys for testing as IME they go from great to horrendous in about one hit

Nope. You'll need new drip tips, but I know madvapes sells them with tips.

I got my bridgeless attys, drip shield, an 306 drip tips at Empiremods:

All EmpireMod has are LR attys. I don't want LR for testing flavors and recipes.
I don't think I need a drip shield, my VV mod has a catch cup and is sealed.

I saw those. They don't have many good reviews. I believe one review said the tips are attached to the atty. IDK if they are or not.
I'll have to order some tips from somewhere else, they were out of stock on their only 306 tip that is sold individually.
Typical IME...no worries but, how many times do we find ourselves having to order from multiple vendors to get everything we need/want. lol.

The MV 306 atty has a removable tip. It fits over the metallic body, not within.

Got my atty order in from MV.
They sent me a gift 306 atty with the drip tip attached.
The drip tip is stuck on the atty, it's not wanting to budge.

Have to say...I am loving the 306 so far.

Debridged very easily. Vaping some mixes that I previously made, the flavors seem so much better.
