No0b eGo c twist

Hello I am new to the e-cig world and would like some help getting started. I purchased a eGo-C twist, with a EVOD Kanger-Tech carto. I chose an e-cig to stop smoking. I was up to a pack of Newports a day for the past 7 years. I'm still not getting that lightheaded feeling from the e-cig that I would get from a Newport. I am vaping Space Jam Astro 24mg e-liquid. Which tank will give me the best cloud for my eGo-twist 1100 MAH battery. Thank you for any; suggestions, comments, even constructive criticism. Also new to the forum world.

Evod's are pretty good clearo's! (I love mine) As for clouds that will probably be more dependent on pg/vg ratios unless you want to try rebuildable dripping atomizers. I can definitely blow bigger clouds with my tiny Smok Mini RDA than I can with an Evod.

What pg/vg ratio are you using? The higher the VG the more the vapor production (but also the thicker the juice and likelihood of clogged coils).

I'm using pre bought juice from Space Jam, idk the ratio.

Well, the next time you buy juice try getting some with a higher VG content. I use 65PG/35VG juice from Mt Baker Vapor (they have a huge selection and you can totally customize the juice, not to mention they are CHEAP! $8 for 30ml! I love their Strawberry and Blueberry with 2 extra flavor shots.)

I can blow some really satisfying clouds with this ratio. If you try a higher VG ratio with the stock kanger coils and notice you are getting dry hits because of the thicker juice, you can pop the top "chimney" off and remove 1, 2 or all 3 of the flavor wicks. The flavor wicks sit loose on top of the coil and can prevent thicker juice from wicking well.

One other thing to seriously consider would be getting into making your own coils. It is much easier than it sounds and your own coils wicked with cotton in a kanger head blows stock heads out of the water!

Here's a picture of a kanger head I just rebuilt...

I really like Rip Tripper's tutorials and reviews Mini Protank Micro Coil Rebuild - YouTube

You will need:

Resistance wire (I use Kanthal A-1)
Wick - Cotton, Silca, Ecowool (I use Sterile cotton balls in a box from the first aid section)
Something to wrap the coils around (I use these micro screwdrivers: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Stanley-Hand-Tools-66-052-6-Piece-Precision-Screwdriver-Set/19901177)
Something to cut the wire (fingernail clippers work awesome)
Metal tweezers or small needle nose pliers
Micro torch or a windproof torch lighter

Lastly and most importantly you will need a way to check resistance (Ohms)! I use my Itaste MVP2 to check ohms but you can buy an Ohm checker like this: Ohm Meter and Battery Voltage Tester These little tester boxes are sold on most vaping websites so look around for the best price. Or even better buy a Mod that checks resistance! A multi meter works too if you have one.

One other thing is if you have an andriod device you can download "Vaper's Toolbox" (that's VapEr's with an "E") from the google play store. It is an awesome app where you plug in some info and it will tell you how many wraps to use to get the Ohms you want! Not to mention the app was made by a member here (ScottP if I remember right) and it's free!

I use 32 gauge Kanthal for my Kanger coil rebuilds. I make 7 wraps around the 1.4mm screwdriver and it meters out to 2.3 Ohms after installed.

I'm a month or two ahead of you. I've now got three EVODs and several other clearomisers. I have to say though, if you want the light-headedness, which comes from the nicotine, get yourself a Protank II. I treated myself to one for Christmas and I'm loving it. It uses the same atomisers as the EVOD. Either it uses them better, or the lower resistance makes a big difference.

I am also a noob, so take this with a grain of salt, but I am pretty sure I read that the light-headedness effect from cigarettes is actually due to carbon monoxide lowering the oxygen level in your brain and not the nicotine, so assuming that is true, I don't think any amount of vapor will replicate that effect.

Sounds accurate to me, I have been vaping for a month and I was a pack a day smoker before I quit. I have never had a light headed feeling since I started vaping. Sometimes I still feel like I'm missing a little something extra that cigs offered so I take a few lung inhales on my RDA and I am good again.

Too much nicotine can make a person feel light headed or loopy. When I first started, I was vaping 24 and 18 mg e-juice. In the evenings I would chain vape and feel like crap. I've since dropped to 12 mg and haven't had an issue since no matter how much I vape.
