Ok, for the new guy - I get that this goes on the threads of the atty / carto, and that it increases conductivity... am I to assume that this leads to a better vape? should I be stopping by my local HD and grabbing a jar to test it out?

I keep the steel atty/carto threads dry.

I apply vasoline on aluminum body threads to prevent galling.

I don't use it on my attys either, but I use it on my REO by placing a tiny bit on the point of the switch/battery contact. I also use it on the threads of the body of my SD's, as well as the top of the screw that acts as a switch. I also routinely put a spot on the top spring. I find it not only enhances the conductivity between electrical "parts" but also acts as a lubricant for such threads.

I put just a wee bit on all contact points besides the threads. Even the springs. When performance of the mod goes down, noalox aids. Just don't forget to clean contact points and sometimes use a wee bit of sandpaper. Checkout SuperTManufacturing's website for video on contact points and using noalox.

yup, more conductivity means more amperage at the end point.. the heater coil/atomizer which means a better vape. I used to put it on everything.. threads, springs, battery tops/bottoms anything that made a mechanical contact. now I just buy bigger and better batteries, then when I'm bored I go put it on everything, and get clown away all over again at how good vaping is. it makes my buzz hit like a freight train.. now I'm just waiting for the subagen v3 tanks to get finished being milled, then I'll be fiending all over again. all obsessive over vaping again, and my wife will hate me and all of you.. again.

dspin.....I couldn't find the video at Super T. Could it be somewhere else? I want to take care of my gear and only have the dab that comes with a Reo. I'm not really sure where to put noalox . Of course I need to take the return trip to Lowe's to try to find it again .

Thanks for the helpful info.

On your REO, remove the battery and look inside, up where the push button is. Pressing it down, you'll see it bends a strip of metal down to make contact with the top of the battery. The "latest" generation has a small point on it to make contact. You need a *very* tiny bit there, and a little on the top of the spring the battery sits on won't hurt either. Then you're good to go. Some REOnauts don't bother with being that fiddly, and just put a bit on the top of the battery where it makes contact.
