Noisy cricket is a hybrid series and does have 510 threads. The center post does make direct contact to battery.

Edit: Wismecs website states:
Special Linkage Set: The linkage at the baseboard, along with the hybrid adaptor, works well with 510 connectors of different lengths, which greatly increases the suitability of the device.

Wisemec is using incorrect terminology.

Hybrids have a Dedicated atomizer and no 510 threads

Keep it above 0.4, even at 0.5 it's rowdy as hell.

I found my sweet spot is 0.7

I agree, i built a 0.28 dual micro coil setup and holy cow this thing was explosive with vapor and the heat was almost unbearable, even at 0.50 i felt like this Noisy Cricket was shooting out 200 watts lol When i get home i'm going to make a 0.7 or even 0.8 and see how it goes.

Its not a hybrid? Its advertised as stated below which i just copy and pasted.

Noisy Cricket Mod
High Power Output
Changeable 18650 Cells Structure
Bottom Ventilation Holes
SMPL Style Hybrid

My avi on the left shows a truehybrid, atmomixani style nemesis and 3d rda; no 510 threads.

The SMPL style is 510 thread with no centerpin.

It's not a hybrid. Neither is a SMPL.
As stated above, they are "direct to battery" or pinless mods.
Those were originally called "hybrid look" mods.
Eventually uneducated people began incorrectly dropping the word "look".

That doesn't make them right, it makes them uninformed.

A hybrid doesn't have 510 threads.
The atomizer attaches directly to the body of the mod.
Most have dedicated atomizers.

Hybrids are probably the safest of all
Mechanicals, because you cannot make the mistakes of using the wrong atomizer.

Know your gear. It's the only way to use it safely.

Good to know man, i make sure to have a good protruding center pin on the RDAs that i use on this device and i only use Sony VTC4s and 5s. Also I don't go below 0.5 on this specific mod. So i believe i'm safe.

Well I tried another Tank, the VCMT 25mm, damn awesome on the Cricket. Got a 30/34 fused Clapton's, 2.5mm di, 8 wraps which ohms out to 0.71. Tank has plenty of airflow along with room to build. Heat sink also gives the clearance for the firing switch.

I love this Tank and of course the Cricket is in a class of its own!

I agree the Cricket is in its own class, but i can't really seem to find a perfect build for it yet... i have a favorite build for every RDA/Mod from the Velocity, to the Aeolus Lite, to even the OG Magma and each one has to be on the correct Mod or Mech, i'll keep tinkering though!
