Volts move in .1 increments and Watts move in .5 increments on most (if not all devices)
and the MVP v2 has an ohm meter...

:) (jus sayin')

Nope! You made me think I was nuts for a minute. Click, click on this well used evic beside me & i'm not crazy, watts go up .1 by .1 by .1 etc... The MVP2 does go up .1 in volts, should have clarified I stay in watts pretty much all the time so I didn't think about the difference. Ohm meter, what I meant was not that the MVP doesn't have one but that the evics is easier to use, as in it pops right up on that nifty screen along with other things

oooooooooooooh, OK

you're sayin the evic increases wattage by .1 (not .5)

I don't have an evic to look at

I have looked at screen-shots and know what you mean
the evic constant display shows Ω (very cool)

I am already sold bro. MVP (supposedly V2) is on its way.

Ft is shipping the V2, no worries. They did soften the button push after the first few runs of the MVP2. Your going to love this solid little mod. One of the best out there.

Here is your sign:

I got a bunch of VV egos, but the battery does not last.
I have been looking into better mods but the only one that seems to "make sense" is the Innokin MVP, but its looks is not my cup of tee.
Is there another mod that can charge from the device itself? what turns me off with the Vamo V5 and the SID (or Sigelei?) is that I have to worry about another charger. I have already set a nice 4A 8 port USB charging station on my desk that powers everything and the only decent mod I could find that could fit is the boxy MVP.

I was looking for something like this too but gave up. Got a VTR and like it.
The eMode maybe but it's more expensive and limited 12 watts, but it has replaceable 16350 and usb charging. The emode also has a ring to set the WW which is better than fiddling with buttons IMHO. I really like the principle on my eCom.
Or something like the ZNA from houseofhybrids or the XPV DNA-30D by protovapor but it's gets even more expensive and has wait times.

I'm gonna admit it up from I'm an innoken fanboy;but, after doing some research over the last few Weeks.
Really it depends on what you're looking for. If you want constant dependable performance then bang for buck MVP2 hands down. It's like a poor mans provari for 40-45 bucks you get constant voltage production rather than cycled PWM like most of the mass produced inexpensive mods. From what I can tell most of those mods are near similar circuitry and internal components. Most run at 33hz, the MVP runs near constant DC, provari is at 800 hz and the VTR is at 47. Some will say that with certain juices and set ups you'll hear a rattlesnake type hiss. In actuality it's cycling very fast from 0v to 6v and taking the average to get where you set it at.
In short If you're like me and watching your pocket and want minimal fiddling but just a good reliable machine to relax with go with MVP2- inexpensive, reliable, high quality and can take a beating.
If you want good performance, heavy durable machine and a bit if flash VTR-bout 80 bucks
If you want a little more flash and twice the price do the provari
