Thank you ! MVP it is - for under $50 Its a no brainer.
One last question - I have been ordering from fasttech with little or no issues (one fake protank but they supposedly refunded me). is it Is it okay to order the MVP from fasttech? (I can use the refund pending).

I don't think fasttech has the mvp2; they have the older mvp1 which has no VW.

oh wait : just noticed some fine print; didn't get mvp2 on the search but just noticed this on one of the writeups:

Authentic Innokin iTaste MVP Variable Voltage APV Starter Kitblue / with iClear 16 atomizers

Reports have been received from customers that orders placed after 8/30 still received the V1 one instead of the V2 one. After checking with the supplier, we've confirmed that there were some V1 ones mixed with V2 ones and get shipped during 30 Aug to 26 Sep.

If your order was placed during this period and received the V1 one, please contact our CS staff using support ticket if you would like to return it for a replacement/refund. We will fully reimburse the return postage and arrange the replacement/refund according to your request. Sorry for any inconveniences caused.

You should check for a ecig store that has a storefront on ebay; i'm sure you'd get a better deal overall.

It seems there was such issue as per Fasttech themselves (they wrote about it on the product description, and said they rectified it). I ordered it (I had $30 in refund pending and didn't need anything else...)
u can get one from ebay at same price or very close - but if time is not of the essence - I like using refunds - make sure MVP 2 and not MVP (older version).

I am already sold bro. MVP (supposedly V2) is on its way. cannot say I wouldn't rather something that looks more like a brass Genesis though... but I need something reliable and it sounds like EVERYONE loves it once used one (even many mini Provari owners - which shocked me...). It should arrive in about two weeks (I have one 800 mah VV V3, 2 1100 mah , and extra pass through ill survive two weeks :) plus a large stock of 24 mg nicotine patches - so I will be okay with the wait).

P.S
101 vape haven't had it in stock for a while now. I guess if not fast tech - then eBay is the only other option for whoever is reading this thread (I ordered from FastTech because I already had $35 pending in store credit from them, but otherwise many US sellers have the same price and you don't have to wait two weeks and risk anything).

By looks alone I would have never bought it or even considered a box mod. Once I put one in my hand I was sold. Feels great in the hand. A little awkward to tilt and twirl a top coil but that is a minor inconvenience.

Hate to sound cliché but don't knock it til you try it. :D

yes this is more or less what PBusardo measured. IMO its also possible that they fixed the button or it's spring has gotten softer with use.
I am not extra worried about that - I paid through college working in construction so my fingers should be up to it (plus many ladies here are okay with it as well).

Here is the PBusardo's review (with the pressure test) for posterity :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTrQPngaIm8

I measured the button pressure of my MVP2 today. It was 24 ounces, no more.

P.S.
I am a HUGE fan of PBusardo. very very professional and inspiring.

The MVP2 is the best bang for the buck in ecig batteries right now and has been for a while too.

I wouldn't buy one for myself unless I just happened to come across one in front my face for a good price, but for somebody looking for a hands down good buy and not sure what to buy, you can't go wrong with it.
I already have a zmax and a vamo, so I'm using the 18650 size batteries.

I was initially turned off by "the box" but once i started using it i not only got used to it...I actually PREFERRED the shape! Tube mods fall over SO EASILY...the MVP hardly ever falls over. And if it does, it doesn't start rolling away! I still think the tube mods are "prettier" but I've been spoiled by my MVP...VV/VW, pass thru feature, no clunky batteries and chargers to carry around and the awesome battery life! Is the battery running a little low? Just plug it into you cell phone charger in your car, at work, anywhere. Win!

I didn't think that I would like the shape, but I got one anyhow a couple of weeks ago, just for the battery life. My second one just shipped from complete vape. :D It showed as out of stock when I ordered, but it shipped in less than a week, and they still have a good price.

I have some serious hand problems, and the button is a little hard to push, but not all that bad. If you have working hands it shouldn't be any problem at all.

Somebody loaned me their spare MVP2. It's new. The youtube clips I've seen for this are misleading because it's surprisingly much smaller than I imagined. (Maybe I just have big mitts).

But I dunno folks. I must have a wimpy thumb. Seems very hard to press for me compared to everything else I've used. Not sure I'd call it a deal-breakers but it's definitely noticeable. I suppose it you haven't used much and this is your first mod you wouldn't know any better.

I've yet to charge it. Started at 4.1v. So for I've charged an iPhone, 3 egos and a nose hair trimmer :)D). Still at 3.9v. When does this thing shut down? 3.2v? 3.4v?

The ease by which one makes VW adjustments with this thing is quite nice though.

BTW PBusardo complained about the button, is it still hard to press or did they fix it? (Pbusardo measured it to be over 2lb of pressure; the normal is under 1).

Yes it's hard to press on but you get use to it, it was really weird at the beginning but now I don't feel it.
IMO, the most annoying issue is the lower connection pin, but on the MVP I think it's much better than on the VV V3, so you should be familiar with that already.

I was concerned about the button at first. It is harder to push than an ego but now it's one of the things I like about it. I have no fear of it accidentally firing in my pocket or purse. I don't even notice it anymore. To me, it's not that it's too hard to push, it's just a little different.

I have two MVP's that I recently bought. I am female, and do not find the button is at all hard to push. If that was an issue, they seem to have resolved it. I love, love my MVP.:) You will not believe how long the battery lasts, at least 2 days.

I just looked it up for someone else, so here is a link to one from a reliable ebay seller, if you are interested:

I use a tennis racquet/hand shake grip and use my index finger to fire it. The button does get a little softer too.

So there is one.. just costs a bit more but looks nice! I already ordered the MVP (cheap and used the store credit); but eVic is most likely to be my next mod.

I have both. I like both. Since you specifically asked about pass through I will mention that the charger cord for the evic is significantly longer. I tend to charge using a power strip on the floor so I never vape the MVP2 while charging but I do the evic, solely because of cord length. The evic screen is nice, you can see % of power left, length of vape and current wattage/voltage. Very easy to increase or decrease power, though not significantly easier than the MVP. Two biggest differences are probably that you can upgrade evic software/transfer data to your computer and it has custom preset wattage/voltage available. Looks do matter, say hello to the panther and the pink sugar -

Between the two which do you prefe as an all day device? Evic or MVP? And why?

I had to think on this a minute because they are usually 50/50 in use. Probably the MVP wins out, only because it is more stable as mentioned above and it costs less. It also has a lot to do with how I use them. The Nautilus on the MVP is my favorite tank. I keep big tanks on both of them and my top 2 juices in them. I don't fiddle around too much now with VW because of that but if I was trying new juices in them I'd have to go evic, it adjusts in .1 increments and has an ohm meter, MVP adjusts by .5 increments. I'm waiting on vapemail with my first tank & carto system, that is going on the evic for the advanced features it has. Just to confuse things a little further, neither of them leave the house! The VTR is my go to for that, durable and I love the recessed tank.

For the OP, I have sworn off buying any more batteries because I am saving for the next Reo Woodville release. But if I was in the market for a battery that looks cool, I'd go Itaste 134. Not a passthrough though.

Volts move in .1 increments and Watts move in .5 increments on most (if not all devices)
and the MVP v2 has an ohm meter...

:) (jus sayin')
