Howdy, Y'all.

So I used to smoke lightly in high school and back when I hada 12-hour shift desk job (just to get off the desk and outside). I quit cold maybe five years ago and really don't have any desire to get back onto nicotine. I might have one or two on occasion when out drinking with old friends or on travel.

I'm going to Chicago in three weeks for a conference. The last time I went (two years ago), I met some awesome people and we did a lot of our networking outside while smoking. I'd like to have something to go out with them and when we're in the bars.

I'd like something I can order righ tup front with 0 nicotene and with a unique flavor (coffee, blueberry, cherry?) Many of the "sampler" kits (one batt, a few cartos, and a usb charger) stick you with nicotine and either tobacco and menthol as choices.

I'm also interested in cartomizers, obviously as they're probably the easiest for me to travel with and manage.

So, small cigarette-like ala the Blu, Volcano (L88's right?), or a 510, etc. that I can get with 0 nicotene up front. As little as I think I'll be using this, I think I should be able to charge it in my bag from a usb-battery or overnight. so I don't REALLY think I need a kit with a PCC, but that would be nice in case I forgot. I will be at the conference for four days.

Are there any companies that would work with me and swap out the cartos for 0 nic and a diff flavor in a sampler kit??

I'm thinking I can get by with one battery, a handful of cartos and a USB charger.

Also, who ships quickly? If I make the order this weekend, I'm hoping to have it by June 20th.

Right now, I'm looking at Volcano or Revolver with Blu as an absolute last-ditch effort if I can find them Locally.

Order a Volt from Smokelessimage.com. You'll have it in a few days unless Marulamb is some country I've never heard of. Even then, you'll have it before June 20. They ship VERY quickly.
Order a box or two of blank cartomizers (cartridges) on the same site and fill them with 0 nic. juice that you can get there or just about anyplace else that sells juice. Filling them yourself is easy.

For a cig-looking e-cig, the Volt is the #1 choice among the veterans here. Even those who can't stand mini-cig type e-cigs recommend the Volt over any of the others. Their prices are good, their juice is good, the performance of their e-cig is head and shoulders above the others and their service is second to none. They also have the charging cases as well as normal USB chargers. Their line of accessories is very complete.

You can get kits with just a battery or two and a USB charger quite reasonably and there are coupon codes for discounts all over the place. Someone will tell you the latest one before long.

Forget Blu, Volcano, etc.. SmokelessImage.com

I second Sailorman's recommendation. Stay away from Blu. Their cartos burnout quick and arent designed to be refilled. Their batteries only last a hour of you are lucky.

Go with the volt from smokeless image. Their batteries last for about 2-3 hours of vaping, depending on how you vape. The cartos last a long time and can be refilled several times. Of all the 808 style companies out there, they have the best price and customer service. They generally ship the same day you order, normally within an hour. Every purchase I have made from them has been at my door within 2-3 days with standard shipping.

Your best value would be the pro starter kit. You get 2 batteries, a pcc charger and a pack of cartos. The pcc let's you charge on the go. Get the mega pcc, it's the same price but holds 2 batteries and 3 cartos. Also, I suggest spending the extra dollar and upgrading to the 78mm batteries, you get 50% more battery life. They also offer all of their flavors sampler packs. They are divided by sweet, strong(menthols) and smooth (tobacco flavors). If you their juice, get a pack of prefilled cartos in that flavor. Since the prefilled are the same price as the blanks, you get 5 free ml and can just use those cartos to refill with that juice. If you are going to get juice from somewhere else, get blanks.

The pro starter kit is $65 and you can use the coupon code sivolt50 to get 15% off.
For juice, there are a lot of companies. I suggest getting small bottles Until you find what you like. Vapedudes.com offers great deals. You can use the code "fbfree" to get a free bottle. You can also use the code "Vapedudes" for 40% off. They will let you use both on the same order so you can get 6bottles for about $12

No, the volt is 808. If you want to branch out later though, they have an x2 battery that is the same as the kgo style. The parts between the standard volt and the x2 are compatible.

If you are looking for a cig look alike the volt is the best one out there.
If you order today, there is a good chance you will have by Monday. They are in Ohio and I get my packages in Florida within 2-3 days.

I'll get trounced for saying this, but the Joye 510 T is a stick style and a 510, so it's compatible with 510 Boges and Fluxes and stuff. You can get batteries for it that are 340 mah so they last a little longer than the average stick battery. Just another option. Not the Joye eGo T, but the 510 T.

I have it. I like it for when I want something small to stick in my pocket. I've never tried the Volt, so I don't know how they compare, but just thought I would throw another option out there for you to consider.

(Ducks to avoid the "Joye products are crap" barrage that is about to begin)

Actually, they have a good promotion called the faces of volt. Once you get your volt, go to the stickies on their subforum. You post a picture of yourself with your volt and they will send you a free battery, bottle of juice or pack of cartos

Nice! I can mos'def do that!

Pity I shaved my handlebar moustache. Would have made for an interesting photo.

If you do get the Volt, I'd suggest ordering it with a manual battery, a lot less chance of killing the battery if you decide to fill your own cartos with juices you can buy just about anywhere on the net. Many good vendors (momandpopvaporshop, kickbassvapor, myfreedomsmokes,......)

Is the longer battery worth the upgrade? Looks like a few more MaH but longer in length and charge (duh).

It looks like it's just a dollar upgrade. But Seems to make the overall length more awkwards than an analog. While I am looking at black with green LED (or a stealth cap), I don't want to stand out THAT much. Haha.

Edit to add: we'll, duh. I see the answer to this in an earlier reply. 50% battery life increase? Yes, please.

Nothing that wrong with a Joye. It's the little batteries that are crap. Even a 340mah is not that great, but it's better.
The 510/808 thing is kind of irrelevant with cig-style e-cigs. The only things you'd want to use on a mini-cig is a carto or clearo. A 808/510 adapter is cheap enough and works fine with a carto or clearo. 808 cartomizers are easy to find, as are some of the clearos. Fluxomizers are available in an 808 thread. In fact, I found my old Joye 510 worked better with 808 cartos. Bottom line is that there is really no advantage to a Joye 510 system. When you get into the larger batteries, a 510 is the better choice. But not for a mini.

Yes it's worth the upgrade. It becomes the size on a 100 cig. Here's a pic to compare
