I tried TPA tobacco, the clear one and it tastes nothing like a tobacco to me. It is very perfumy. Which I hate.
As a side note my girlfriend ordered some Wyatt Earp from FSUSA and it was so perfumy I couldn't vape it at all. It made me feel sick.

Where can I find good tobacco flavors that aren't perfumy? Preferably clearer liquids, but if "clear" and "tobacco" don't go together then I'm fine with something that is colored.

Try here. There isn't another place to "really" purchase FA at retail prices. I know TPA has better prices, but their tobacco flavoring is not very popular ( I think ). It is more of an absolute which has a hay - grassy flavor. I have some of that as well. As mentioned, I'm willing to trade with ya. It is a cheaper way to try flavors than purchasing them .. only to discover it's not to your liking. Any 510 hardware will do if your short on flavors or different types of juice from other vendors. I'm just trying to help ya out.

Flavour Art's tobacco flavoring are very strong, suggested dilution is in the 1-3% range. I feel they have the best options for tobacco flavorings out there. Shade is fairly mild, Perique Black is one of their harsher tobacco flavorings. Maxboro Ultimate, Camtel Ultimate and Virginia are among the favorites of our customers.

Ahh tobacco flavors. My neverending quest for the best that I can come up with. I have tried most of the FA flavors at ranges from 2% to 10% and they aren't too bad.

TPA flavors that I have tried are the DK tobacco base, the tobacco that you mentioned and the RY4 like. I really like the DK tobacco myself.

Totally wicked patriot range are pretty good too. Particularly the M/borough, it tastes very close to Halo Freedom.

Good luck on your quest.:vapor:

I don't doubt that you find Wyatt Earp perfumy but I LOVE it and to me it don't seem perfumy at all. I think it's really strange how to some folks a flavor tastes like one thing and something different to another person. I see this a LOT. I got some french vanilla because people raved about it and I cannot stand it. Still trying to see what people see in waffle but at least I can vape that without freaking out. I do enjoy Pina colada and peanut butter. Those are about all I have tried so far since I started vaping.

Yeah that's the thing about vaping. It's totally subjective. Just like the type of e-cigs people enjoy and the strength of the juices. All depends on the person. But at least there is enough variety you're bound to find something you like.

I use FA Shade and Virginia at 7% in VG to make tobacco bases for juice. Those 30mL batches take about 4 weeks steeping before they're ready to use.

I have Perique Black and Latakia steeping now, both 15mL bottles were mixed at 6% in PG on 5/2/11. I tried them yesterday; Latakia seems almost ready but the Perique has some time to go, I think.

Came across a old remnant of 10% 7 Leaves in VG and tried it, found it surprisingly mild. That one was born on 11/13/10.
