Great Advise! A cheap, poorly designed charger (most all that ends with "Fire"), will literally destroy the best of batteries by making them very hot during charge, something to avoid for safety alone. I have a Efest LUC 2, which is a good one, others highly recommends the Nitecore Intellicharger, pricing has fell since I began vaping in 2013. Both brands has a 2 or 4 battery option, one difference of the Intellicharger being that it can charge most any battery, including AA-AAA rechargeables.
It's also best to have more than one battery, I have four of the AW IMR 18490's for my mod, as well as plastic cases to store these in. That way, I always have a fresh battery on hand, ready to go, stored safely. Don't mess with eBay sellers on batteries, get these from a reputable source, mine comes from Provape, if they're good enough for their top line mods, they're certainly good enough for my $30 Astro clone. I have no problem with paying $5 extra to know I'm getting genuine batteries.
If you purchased the IPV mini from an authorized dealer, they should stock the spare batteries that's recommended for the device, just like the chargers, stay away from any that includes "Fire" in the name. They're cheap & won't last.
