Noob -- Disappointed with my eliquids...no throat hit!

I live in San Diego, where Vapure is based.
I have been to their storefronts and tried many of the liquids.

They all suck. No throat hit for the most part, and only the chocolate cake icing was tolerable to me.

I think this post will be deleted, but I have to say it anyway.
There are literally THOUSANDS of better liquids out there.

Why would this thread be deleted? Because I said that I got no throat hit from a particular company's liquid? It's my experience with a product-- some people would actually prefer no throat hit...you're the one who used the term "they all suck"...

Blimey, am I the odd one out using the 36mg nic? I get a spearmint in 36mg "mostly" PG and I add a bit of spearmint oil to it and it really hits the spot and because I am using a VV/VW can produce a fair bit of vapour too :)

My daughters were complaining about the steam coming from my room the other night hehe just a bottom coil RG500 but it was churning out steam better than the Hogwarts express

I'm still not thrilled with the liquids that I've chosen so far, though...

Finding that perfect e juice is probably the hardest part. For everything else you can pretty much get any question you have answered here on the forum. This is probably one of the most helpful forums I've ever been in.

As far as e liquid goes, "taste is subjective." (You'll get that a lot on here and it is so true) I've tried lots of different juices that had great reviews that I've tried and didn't like, and I've seen others talking highly of juice on the forum that I just couldn't stand either. Plus it seems like whenever I find something I do like my taste changes and next thing you know I can't stand it. I definitely recommend buying small bottles, and sample packs. That way you don't get stuck with a bunch of big bottles of juice you don't want to vape. I had that happen to me when I first started. Luckily I was able to take some flavors and mix them together and make them tolerable enough to use. I've since started DIY. For me it's the only way to go. If you continue having a hard time finding something you like you might try unflavored also, it's mildly sweet, not bad at all, and (from my experience) has the same throat hit as flavored juice.

Thanks ccv1: I'm finding this to be true already...I have purchased about 9-10 small bottles so far, and only find 2 to be "good"...I'm easily frustrated, and find that having to fool with things just to make them "ok-at-best" something I don't want to do...it's like ordering a meal at a restaurant and finding the food bland...yeah, it fills your stomach, but you're left totally unsatisfied...uggg!

You need around 1.8 ohm or less on a 3.7 v Evod battery I think. Or, go variable volt (VV) or variable watt (VW). There are inexpensive VV batteries out there you can try. There's one on ivape.net for $15. In their express starter kit category. Comes with a USB charger and bottom coil clearo that takes Evod coils. The bottom coil it comes with is pretty good, and I'd guess its 1.8 ohm as well. I managed to quit smoking analogs with it, so throat hit was good enough for me anyway. During particularly stressful moments, being able to up the volts is a nice feature. For $15 I think its a good deal to try a VV and see if you can make the juice you already bought work for you. As for juice, that's all trial and error unfortunately. A cheaper place to try though would be Mtbakervaper. Some of the best prices and largest selection of flavors I've found. Decent throat hit for me with their 50/50, 18 mg nic juices. Good luck. Keep trying stuff. You'll find your vape nirvana, and you don't need to invest a TON of money to find it. I know some people think it's a waste to buy cheap, generic, stuff, but I think it's wise to see if you like a feature before investing in longer lasting set up.

Yesterday, I did go and buy some 1.8ohm coils, and found them to make a BIG difference! I also took everyone's advice and bought a VV battery that will fit my tanks...haven't received it yet, but I'm looking forward to trying it!

This seems to be a common experience;
