I've known about electronic cigarettes for a while now but never really looked into them. I saw a girl at a nightclub last night with one and it sparked (no pun intended) my interest. I googled electronic cigs and came up with the smoking everywhere site. The site, packaging and overall delivery of the product on the site made it out to be the one to get. But I knew there would be an underground cult if you will for these e-cigs. Thats what led me here. After reading some posts I found myself at puresmoker.com and are now 99% sure the vw mini is what I want. I haven't bought a pack since last year but I've been bumming cigs every day. I'm planning on ordering this soon but was curious to know what else I need if I buy the prodigy mini kit. All info is greatly appreciated.. Thanks in advance!

Getting the Prodigy, based on it being a manual PV (personal vaporizer), the bigger batteries that don't cost $20 to replace, a six month warranty and puresmokers good reputation is a very wise choice.

You will need liquid to use in the carts and some extra blank (polyester filler only) cartridges. Since puresmoker has stopped selling juice for the moment, I would suggest trying some of these suppliers for liquid:

www.eastmall.net - Eastmall International Co.,Ltd

LiquidXpress Hompage

MyVaporStore.com

Vapor Electronic Cigarettes - Buy E-Cigarettes, e-liquid, e-cig, electronic cigarette

You should also get some extra atomizers, probably 2-4 incase one of them dies on you.

At this point in time the Prodigy is not yet released so any comments regarding it are pure speculation. Most of the people on this forum, myself included, have confidence that PureSmoker would not release it unless it was a very good quality device.

If you don't mind spending the money and waiting a bit till it is actually released You will likely be very pleased with it.

I would strongly encourage you to read around the forums as much as possible before ordering anything. There are many choices available and there is no single be all end all to e-cigs.

OH yeah, click the link in my signature and watch Spikeys video. You will not regret spending the hour to watch it and it will save you tens of hours worth of reading on the forum.

First off, I do not personally like to be associated with an 'underground cult'. Second, if that is you in the avatar, you really need to attend to a few other things first. Third, I am a ****, as you can see, so get over it.

The most popular e-cig model seems to be the DSE-901. But, I would recommend any e-cig- with a manual switch like the Janty Kissbox or the Janty Dura or the Totally Wicked Tech Titan.

Noob here too (less than a week), but I've purchased both a "pen style" kit and a "mini cig kit". I'd say to just buy a starter kit to get you going and then you can go from there. I'd also get some of the liquid to fill the cartridges since they run out pretty quick.

I was smoking an "ultra light" analog cigarette and decided to go with the medium nicotine levels in my liquids. It works fine for me except for the morning, which is why I've put in an order for some high strength liquid too.

The models I've gotten were the Classic Elite Pen Style from epuffer.com (just make sure to email and make sure they have what you want in stock first), and the 901 mini cig from thesmokelessshop.com (very good service and fast shipping). In my short amount of useage time, I've noticed the pen style definitely last longer between charges and the cartridges last longer before you have to fill them with more liquid.

I've also placed an order with myvaporstore.com and I got the shipping notice a few hours after I ordered from them.

So my advice...get a starter kit of whatever you prefer and also get a bottle of the refill liquid and you should be set for a little while. :)

Thanks for the quick reply.. I'm used to marlboro menthol lights.. how close is the menthol juice to the real thing? I'm planning on going from the actual cig flavored stuff to something like coffee or whatever down the road.

The menthol/mint is awesome! It tastes even better than a menthol cigarette. So much that I'm finding myself puffing on my e-cig almost constantly ;-)

lol its not me in the pic... Didn't mean underground cult in a bad way. I'm on enough forums and what not to know that theres always a group that knows what they are talking about on certain subjects. This forum being that group for e-cigs.
