I've been vaping a few months now. I've been using clearos on my Twists and I just don't seem to get quite as much flavor as I would like most of the time. Probably the best I've tried is a Splitfire but the latest heads I got have a funky flavor and the wicks started coming apart. The CE3s are nice but the performance seems to go down after I refill them. Novas are easy to use, but I'm just not getting much flavor. Same with the Kanger T3s. Got good flavor on the T2s but every one I've had has leaked horribly.

So I haven't tried carto tanks yet, but they seem to have quite a following. I was thinking I might like to try a pyrex model. My main concern, though, is the juice I use. My current ADVs are Boba's and Hype. They're a little on the thick side. Would something like the Ikenvape laser punched Platinum feed juice well enough with this? Should I get my own punch and do more than two holes? How about something like the CE3 punched cartos? I like the idea of less filler material.

Any guidance you folks can give is much appreciated.

I'll share my experience, it may not be much help. I primarily use cartotanks. I prefer to use the laser-drilled cartomizers from Smoktek and Ikenvape. I've not had any issues with adequate juice flow with the two holes in either carto brand with my 100%vg juices from Virgin Vapor and Vaperite.

However, I found Boba's Bounty to be a PITA. This juice might as well be made from honey its so thick. I've tried the laser-drilled and punched my own (up to 3 holes in one carto) and the stuff just clogs up the polyfill. I've even diluted with water.

Good luck.
