Long story short... wife is pregnant, cant smoke in the house anymore.
We live in Canada, it gets cold outside in the winter.

Im looking for some advice on various e-cig models available in Canada.
I want something that looks and feels like a cigarette [including the nicotine].
Ive been looking around a little bit and I know I dont want anything too big. The size of a king sized cigarette would be great [mini or supermini] I believe is the correct term?
Ive also read a few things about automatics and push button e-cigs.
What would you guys recommend?
As of now I smoke 20-25 cigs a day [Winston Filters]
They are fairly strong as far as smokes go.

Any advice would be great!
Thanks everyone.

Ek. What the heck. I'll probably get blown out of the water for this because many think it is over rated. But here goes my two cents.

Go ahead and get a Joye510. Get the kit with the manual batteries (ones with the button). Far less likely to have a battery problem with.

But if you do get the Joye510 you better go ahead and get you a PCC (personal charging case) for it because at first the batteries do last a good time. But Their cycle quickly gets a tad annoyingly short between charge times. If you out and about you going to need it.

Lastly I would invest in some 24mg juice and a bottle of PG. That way if the 24mg juice is to strong for you, you can cut it back. I was a 1 1/2 pack a day smoker of Marlboro Reds. I started out on 18mg juice. I have since cut myself back to 6mg DIY (do it yourself) juice. But I have been at this almost a year now so it has been a slow cut back.

Well it's always funny to hear the 2 piece PV'ers touting the ease of use w/ cartomizers, compared to the 510. But, then they almost always start following up talking about refilling carts? What's up w/ that? If you are gonna refill, the only advantage I see to a two piece is cheaper Atty's... But, I haven't lost a single Atty in almost 8 weeks, so the 510 has worked 100% satisfactorily for me! :)
I direct drip at home, so I'm given my Atty a work out "to boot"!

Hi! Canadian here too. I would go for the 510, only because thats what I have and its working fine for me, I can't comment on anything else because thats what I have. evapers.com offers nic juice, I got the Ruyan #4... tastes most like an Canadian Cig, but MAN THE NIC IS TOO MUCH for me, unfortunatly it only comes in the 24 mg :(.

Hope that helped :)

You can get some lower or zero-nic juice of a compatible flavor to cut the strength down a bit, or just cut it with Vegatable Glycerine (cheap, locally available, and produces lots of vapor). It will dilute the flavor a bit, as well.

At the bottom of Desrtrat's Profile page is a link to his free Easy E-Juice Calculator. It's a small program that he made for everyone to use (for free, what a guy!).

And here is a link to Scubabatdan's Excel spreadsheet "Ejuice Calculator"

you are a lifesaver! Canada post has lost my order of the 18 mg and I am so sick from the 24 I don't even want to think about analogues and let me tell you I'm pretty much cold turkey at this point and I need my e-cig to be puffable, so not only did you save my life with that tidbit, but you might possibly have saved hubby's as I'm about to rip his head off ;) now, where exactly do I find this mix you speak of and what exactly am I looking for?

I'm so sorry, I got side-tracked with something else and didn't notice your post. Clearly, this is an emergency situation! :D

I don't live in Canada, but down here in the states we can get it from WalMart, the local drug store or pharmacy, or one of those "skin care" places.

Nuck is from Canada, and he says he gets the stuff with the USP label on it from Shoppers Drug Mart (in case that's a national chain and there is one close by). You could PM him and ask.

Here's what I found with a quick Google:

Buy NOW Foods Vegetable Glycerine from Canada at Well.ca - Free Shipping

That's just to give you an idea what I'm talking about, I have no idea if it's suitable.

You can also get some PG to mix 50/50 or so with the VG, if you like (not necessary, but it thins it down). It's a bit pricey to buy it this way, but you could order some here. :D
