NOOB Mini's and Newports

OK, so, I've read a little here and on another forum and these are undoubtedly double-posts, but, I figured I might get the succinct answers I desire, and hopefully avoid the guys who have nothing better to say then read (since I've done that already). After a million searches (watching DULL video reviews with terrible production quality-no offense if you were the one who made it) there is just too much to "learn", and I don't really need, nor WANT to know EVERYTHING there is to know about PV's, or E-cigs, or whatever you want to call them (the fact I know what a PV means is bad enough), so, I'll limit this to a few specific questions and would GREATLY appreciate any HELPFUL responses...Now, with all that said:

I want to augment my habit, and perhaps cut back. My motivation would be to smoke indoors, on planes, amusment parks, basically everywhere since smokers are not allowed to smoke anywhere anymore, AND, as a single guy, a lot of women are becoming intolerant...Unbelievable

I smoke Newports, and ONLY Newports, I smoke heavily (2 packs a day) so Throat Hit, or kick is pretty desirable, as is the Newport flavor, which seems a bit difficult to obtain.

I would prefer a mini, or super mini, as close to an actual cigarette as possible; Portability and aesthetics outweigh performance to a degree as I don't plan on quitting altogether and wouldn't want some huge device regardless.

Price is not a factor. I always believe that more often than not, you get what you pay for.

I would prefer a U.S. based supplier for logistical reasons.

So, after that lengthy intro here are the questions in bulleted format:

What do you guys consider "The Best" SMALL mini or super mini e-cigarette, vaporizor, or personal vaporizor? Best I suppose taking into account vapor production, throat hit, style, battery life/performance, drag-ability, fast shipping, reliabilty, etc (any other factors you might consider), again, cost is the least of my concern.

What flavor, or combo of flavors come closest to a NEWPORT? Who's got the juice?

I would like to get this stuff ASAP, hence the emphasis on domestic suppliers.

Thanks in advance, and apologies if I came off as a ....., but, I've learned too much about stuff in the past that I never really needed to know, (if you ever want HID's in a car those guys are the worst) if I find one decent alternative I'll be OK


I'll reiterate: I don't plan on quitting, perhaps I'll get a larger unit down the road if I desire. I just need something small to take with me to use when I can't smoke an "analog", on dates, etc. so I'll change the question a bit: Assume you could ONLY buy the following models:

Janty Mini Fogger (can use KR808 battery)

Joye 306/A (which can use the 510 battery or sidesho)

Blu/Smoore/401/2

Sidesho
KR808
E8/9

I've seen decent reviews on the mini fogger, the 306, and the 401/2, so those are the 3 I'm leaning towards. The KR808 however, is about the size of a "short".

I also found several threads about the following juices. Any insight would be appreciated, perhaps I'll buy 'em all and figure it out:

Of all the ones you listed the Kr808 sound like the best one. Or, i've heard the sideshow is good too.

As for the flavor: you just have to try them A LOT! I think 90% of the time, your perception of what is going to "taste good" will change as soon as you start vaping. Wait to you try it before trying to mimic your usual tobacco flavor because you'll probably like something totally new and it's most likely impossible to copy any flavor exactly.

Personally I have a 401 and it's been lovely. I haven't tried any other models or mods so I can't offer any other suggestions.

not at all, the cartomizers are refillable, just like the carts. Yu just have to do it a different way, so it's easier to do a bunch at once instead of carrying a bottle of juice around with you.

I smoked Newport 100's for 20+ years...I smoked NOTHING else and yes I really enjoyed the feel of smoking razor blades....Newports had the very best Throat Hit EVER. My favorite is the dse 901 with atomic cinnicide now...however, first thing in the morning or after a meal when I still crave a real cigerette I have found my e-9 the closest thing to a real Newport cigerette. I use prefilled carts from e-cig and they're prefilled with "Salem"....but I find they have a much harder throat hit than a real Salem ...it's VERY close to a Newport.

a lot of juice is American made, but the PV's are a product of China that are re-distributed through some U.S. vendors. "salem" would be the flavor of the juice, not the name of the PV (wasn't sure if you got that). A lot of juice is named for the analog the maker thinks it tastes like (they are usually wrong, but sometimes it tastes like some other kind of analog)

Perhaps I wasn't specific. Do you happen to know what US vendor carries the "Salem" flavor?

I'm just not that patient, and I won't wait for a product from China

Don't throw the carts away, you can refill these with the atomic cinnicide when they're empty Not domestic, but shipping has been really fast for me. I live in NJ and the longest I've had to wait is 7 days....shortest 5.

I don't know anything about the EGO...can't offer an opinion there. I have the dse-901, a rn4081, and the e-9 . My cheapest by far was the dse901 from http://www.zapcigs.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=3 @ $24.99

My original e-9 came from smoke 51 It's called a DUO there....I wayyyyyyyyyyy over paid....But I had it in 3 days days and it still works great! Was way worth the price, since I haven't picked up a Newport since. I bought spare batterys and refill carts from e-cigs way cheaper.....

Ok, The DUO is a e-9

I just bought the Tabacco Menthol from TV...and I'm waiting on some empty carts for the e-9 to try it before I can give it an honest review. It's not bad at all on the "salem" carts when they run dry.

I purchased the Menthol juice double flavor and the menthol crystals.
The crystals will allow you to make the juice as menthol as you want it.

Tried E-Liquid Planet NTP good stuff but almost.

While I can't comment on model, So far my favorite newport is from litecigusa.com I also would suggest buying some menthol crystals or menthol solution from a site such as JuicyLiquid.com as you might not find the menthol strength you like in a stock juice, but controlling the menthol is very nice. The Litecig newport isn't mentholy enough for me, but a few drops of menthol and i'm set.

Quickie answer to that…

In order for the water vapor that's atomized by the cartridge to make "smoke" or visible condensation there must be some tiny particles mixed in with the vapor. So just like clouds need bits of dirt to get the water vapor to condense into rain your PV has tiny particles of atomized Propilyne Glycol or Vegetable Glicerine mixed in to make that water vapor look and act more like smoke. Forgive my horrible spelling for PG and VG.

Noted, but, I was more asking about Tasty Vapors mix %
10-50% of one or the other...Does one produce better vapor or something?
