I purchased an IGO-W to go with my K100 mech mod. It was easy to setup up and it was cheap. Letting my buddies use it, they were advising me to enlarge the two air holes to 1/16 to increase vapor production and flavor..... so I did! Honestly, enlarging BOTH airholes makes every hit to airy and flavor is down to a minimum. I found some stuff at Home Depot called " J AND B WELD. I purchased the one that has the highest temp rating (consists of two tubes, red and black). Now, my question is....."Is this stuff safe to use on an atomizer. It is rated at 550 degrees? I want to close off one of the holes and leave the other one as is 1/16".

JB Weld should be fine for covering air holes in a mod . My dad uses it on my moms false teeth . He uses the water resistant kind but still . If you are really worried about it , have a jeweler solder the hole closed with some silver solder . Shouldnt cost a fortune to do it that way . ANd if you had it silver soldered closed you could drill it out a little later on if you noticed you werent getting a good cross draw .

It is used by the modders fairly frequently to glue mod parts together...including sealing around atomizer connectors.

The small amount inside the hole is probably OK.

Another option...even though it's Stainless Steel...is to use lead free solder to plug the hole. It will probably stick. However you run the risk of discoloring the metal with heat as you have to heat the metal not the solder.

EDIT: I type too slow. dring...jinx

Cool, just mixed up a small amount and sealed one hole closed. Waiting for it to fully cure (tomorrow afternoon) and test it out. I do have a AGI dual that i fully converted to a drip, was never into chambers! The airhole on that is perfect for me and it's configured to 1.2 ohm single coil, using 32 guage kanthal and 2mm silica wick that i folded in half once. I love the vapor and flavor from this thing, so I'm trying to get that same result on my igo-w now.
