Just started vaping a few days ago. Two days without a analog!! Been doing a little research, familiar with most of the commonly used terms. From reading, I have a eGo variable voltage device with the led power display and two types of tanks ( i think that is they are called). Lots of good info here!! Looking forward to becoming part of the community

Welcome welcome! This is a great community you have stumbled into, and it will help you with your road to being off tobacco for good! If you have ANY questions don't be afraid to ask, you will find the answer eventually!

Congrats and good luck keeping on the path, you'll start to love vaping if you don't already!

Any suggestions on how to improve?

I'm already 5 months into vaping and you are at the same tech level that I am at now. Just so you know what I am doing now: I got like 15 samples of 6mL e-liquids, 2 variable voltage batteries like you have there, 3 clearomizers like you have there, and a whole bunch of replacement wick/coils. So I am trying a couple of flavors at a time and giving it some time before I write them off. Once I establish that I don't like a flavor, I remove the clearomizer, separate it and wash all the parts, toss the wick/coil, and put on a new one once everything is dry. Then I try a new liquid, give it plenty of time to soak, and give that a whirl.

So far, I like the clove flavor the best, surprisingly. The tobacco flavored ones don't interest me at all anymore. My nic needs are satisfied and the room smells nice after using the non-tobacco ones and I think I have just really moved on from anything that feels like tobacco. Good luck and happy vaping!

Improve? You are doing just fine.

Here's some tips though.

You may find you need to drink a little more water when you vape. Juice tends to dehydrate a little bit.

Do you have an extra battery and an extra tank or clearo? You may break something and need it sooner than later.

Avoid my biggest vaping mistake. Which is buying large, bottles of juice I've never tried. There are lots of good juice vendors out there, but taste is subjective and personal, so be willing to experiment with little bottles before you end up with a closet full of juice you thought you might like :)

If you have trouble sleeping at night, lay off the vapor an hour or two before you go to bed.

If you find you can't taste anything, especially juice, don't worry, it'll pass. Some people find their taste buds go haywire a few days after their last cigarette. It's temporary. Some say a tiny bit of hot sauce will restore the taste buds.

Use this forum as much as you like . In my experience, this is the nicest and most helpful online community on the Internet.

I have several clearos with several different flavors ready to go. I DO need another battery. Currently contemplating between the 1100 mah ego twist or getting another 650 variable voltage eGo, or possibly even a 1100 mah variable voltage pass through. Along with my battery order, I am going to try some of the Kanger T3 cartomizers. Seems to find mostly good reviews about them.

Question, If i try a juice in a T3 and I don't like it, can i simply empty the cartomizer and try another? Or does it need cleaned first?

Sorry if some of my terminology is off.

What they said. Once you've used this kit for a few weeks you will have a better idea of where you want to go. I'm using a Kgo VV battery and Vivi Nova tanks and I don't have any complaints at all (except for the rubber band power button). I'll likely buy something better in the next few weeks, but it will be as a toy and not something that I need. There are an astounding number of vaporizers out there - take your time before jumping into something else. As soon as you find one that you think will be your next mod, you are sure to find another, possible more attractive option.

Generally, you'll want to clean it.

Some juices will rinse out with hit water. Remove the head, Rinse the tank part and shake dry, attach the head again and vape away. There will be some flavor in the head, but it will go away in a few puffs.

If you get a particularly strong juice, use vodka to clean it. Some people use isopropyl alcohol, but I'd prefer something intended for human consumption.

I soak things overnight in vodka, then let them air dry. Many people swear by vodka in an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner. You can get one in Walmart for 20-30$.

All that being said, I mostly use carto tanks. These have a filler in them to absorb the juice. It's nearly impossible to clean these out quickly, so I just pour in a different juice and let it ride.

In doing so, I discovered my mango juice is pure awesome with some ice menthol in it.

I did try out a T3 this week on an EGo twist. It's nice. I also used it on a regular eGo 650 battery and it was fine.

However, I dropped it on a tile floor and the T3 broke. So beware this can happen.

Most clearos will break, they are plastic.

The T3 seems to be the best of the bunch. It has wicks on the bottom. This helps the juice wick best, no matter how little you may have in there.

GotVapes seems to have the best price and selection of the T3.

You may not find the batteries you are looking for there however.

One annoying thing about vaping is there are so many accessories and items, non one store carries everything. You can go pure batty trying to find a store to get each item from.

USPS regular shipping is usually pretty cheap.

One of my favorite vendors is Mt. Baker Vapor. They ship very fast and have good juices and a decent selection of accessories.
